You will operate with significant autonomy, treating the growth experience like an entrepreneurial venture within a larger organization.
As a Staff-level leader, you will also elevate design quality, mentor designers, and help shape systems, tools, and practices across the product organization.

Accountabilities

  • Own the end-to-end design strategy across activation, onboarding, feature discovery, engagement, habit formation, and expansion experiences.
  • Identify the highest-impact opportunities throughout the user journey and build compelling cases for prioritizing them.
  • Lead experimentation and iterative design initiatives that help users reach meaningful product value faster while generating measurable business outcomes.
  • Explore and apply generative AI to create more personalized, intuitive, and effective activation and engagement experiences at scale.

  • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to solve complex design and technical challenges related to AI, discoverability, onboarding, and sustained engagement.
  • Champion design excellence by mentoring other designers, contributing to design systems, and helping evolve internal design tools and practices.
  • Requirements

    • 10+ years of professional product design experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, AI, or similarly complex digital product environments.
    • 2–3+ years operating at Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior design leadership level, with demonstrated ownership of complex, high-impact initiatives.
    • A strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated user-centered product design, strategic thinking, and measurable impact on both user experience and business outcomes.
    • Deep knowledge of AI concepts, AI-powered design tools, and emerging approaches to incorporating AI into product development and user experiences.
    • Proven experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, UX, and other cross-functional partners to deliver scalable growth-oriented experiences.
    • Strong command of UX practices, information architecture, user-centered design methodologies, and product experimentation.
    • Strong understanding of growth, lifecycle, activation, onboarding, or experimentation-focused product design is highly valued.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders, and build alignment across diverse teams.
    • A proactive, adaptable, and autonomous working style, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and make informed decisions independently.
    • Experience with growth experimentation platforms or lifecycle design tools is a strong advantage.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive compensation package with equity opportunities.
      • Wellbeing benefit to support physical and overall wellness.
      • Work-from-home equipment allowance.
