We are Datadog's in-house product experts. The technical solutions team enables Datadog's worldwide growth by educating potential clients and ensuring that existing customers are happy and successful. A Technical Account Manager (TAM) will continue to provide hands-on technical services to our largest customers by supporting, adopting and providing guidance over the comprehensive suite of products and features available at Datadog. A TAM is held in high regard as an expert and trusted advisor for how IT Operations translates to business value.

What You’ll Do:
- Advise on technical support and product adoption for customers in line with pre-sales, post-sales and the renewal processes
- Analyze customer’s IT Operations environment on a regular basis and provide recommendations that will maximize Datadog’s value.
- Be the customer’s advocate by knowing their goals and use cases then suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration and additional features to meet their requirements
- Participate and prepare for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers
- Collaborate with Datadog’s product management, engineering and technical services teams to help identify new features and products
- Continuously evolve best practice to technical product adoption and customer success
Who You Are:
- Someone with a solid technical grounding and hands-on experience of IT Operations
- Confident in your hands on experience AWS, Azure or GCP
- Comfortable scripting languages like Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet etc.
- Skilled in using CI/CD tools e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab etc.
- Knowledgeable about Containerization tools e.g. Docker, Kubernetes or Rancher etc.
- Able to sit up to 4 hours, traveling to and from client sites
- Able to travel via auto, train or air up to 30% of the time
- Previous experience working as a TAM supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space
- Experienced using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools

As a Staff Application Security Engineer at Datadog, you'll set technical direction for how we approach application security at scale. You'll define the frameworks, methodologies, and architectural patterns that engineering teams across Datadog adopt and apply independently. You're the person others come to when they don't know how to make something secure, and you reliably have an answer.
You'll be a point of contact for our most complex security programs, often spanning multiple teams and multiple quarters. The role requires both depth (going very deep on specific problems when needed) and breadth (recognizing patterns across systems and drawing connections that others miss). Partnering closely with teams inside and outside the security org is key to success. You'll help shape the AppSec roadmap and make the case for where investment should go.
We use our own platform. Logs, Dashboards, Service Catalog, and APM aren't just things we sell: they're tools the AppSec team uses to build security services, measure adoption of secure defaults, and communicate risk across the organization.
AI is also part of the picture. Engineering at Datadog increasingly uses agentic tooling throughout the development lifecycle, and many of the products we ship to customers now include AI-powered features. Both create new attack surfaces, and defining our strategy for addressing them is part of this role.
If using Datadog to observe Datadog's own security posture, building impactful tooling, and shaping how we secure AI-powered systems sounds like the right kind of problem, this role is worth a close look.
What You’ll Do:

Define and drive security standards and secure-by-default solutions, serving as the Application Security subject matter expert.

Build security tooling and automation that scales security practices across engineering teams, and implement robust security observability to support our threat detection team with meaningful, actionable security signals.

Lead threat modeling and risk assessment for high-risk features and platform changes.

Assess and address security risks introduced by agentic development practices and AI-powered product features in production

Partner with engineering teams to prioritize and remediate critical threats, define API security standards, and conduct security code reviews.

- You have led impactful technical initiatives in an environment where performance, cost efficiency, ease of use, and resilience/operability are first-order concerns
- You have significant back-end engineering experience and have built, and operated distributed systems to solve problems at a high scale
Bonus points:
- You have experience working with Graph Databases such as Neo4j, Memgraph, JanusGraph, ArangoDB, Amazon Neptune or PuppyGraph.
- You have production-grade experience with Apache Iceberg

Who You Are:
- Experienced in 7+ years of partner-facing, quota-carrying business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a cloud services or software as a service organization
- Proven in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating agreements and building long-lasting partnerships
- Able to quickly comprehend technical concepts and architectural scenarios, and explain them to others verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in managing premier Cloud MSP partners will be advantageous
- Willing to travel 20-30% of the time

What You’ll Do:
- Help developers hone their craft in an AI-accelerated world by exploring how AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools change software workflows, and guiding teams on how to balance rapid prototyping with established engineering practices around performance, code health, and system reliability.
- Build in public by creating authentic, peer-to-peer technical content, sharing your engineering insights directly where modern developers collaborate in person and online.
- Drive a constructive, bidirectional feedback loop between fast-moving developer communities and our internal teams, translating real-world developer experiences into actionable product insights to shape our roadmap while advocating for user needs from the inside.
- Design and ship high-quality open-source boilerplate templates, quickstarts, and tools that make integrating observability seamless across AI native workflows, next-gen platforms (Vercel, Supabase, etc.), and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Who You Are:
- A builder with approximately 10+ years of software engineering experience, ideally having shipped applications from scratch or worked within an early-stage startup environment where you've worn multiple hats.
- An AI-fluent developer who natively leverages AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools as a core part of your regular, day-to-day development workflow.
- Multi-stack familiar, comfortable writing and debugging code across multiple programming languages (such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) and experienced with deployment paradigms spanning next-gen platforms and traditional cloud ecosystems.
- An authentic communicator with approximately 3+ years of experience in technical storytelling and community engagement, backed by a publicly available portfolio of peer-to-peer artifacts like GitHub repositories, technical blogs, video walkthroughs, or public speaking presentations.
- A forward thinker who loves self-driven exploration of emerging technologies, and is deeply passionate about developer education, mentorship, and helping other engineers hone their craft.
