Company Overview
A fast-growing, Series A fintech company is building a modern, AI-native operating system for finance.
The company is transforming the traditional ERP market with AI built directly into its core architecture, automating accounting workflows from data entry through financial close. Its platform enables real-time close, AI-assisted journal entries and reporting, anomaly detection, agentic workflows, and rapid data migration. The company has raised more than $100M from leading venture capital investors and is already trusted by customers ranging from high-growth companies to publicly traded organizations. The team is highly ambitious and looks for outliers people with a track record of accomplishing difficult things and thriving in high-performance, fast-moving environments.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to build and grow the company's presence in the UK.
This is a full-cycle sales role where you will own the entire process from outbound prospecting and discovery through demo, negotiation, and signed contract. The majority of your pipeline will be self-generated, with additional opportunities coming from BDRs, partnerships, and marketing.
You will sell a genuinely complex ERP platform to CFOs, controllers, and senior finance leaders. AEs run their own demos, so the ability to confidently demonstrate a complex product without heavy Solutions Consultant support is essential.
Mid-market sales cycles typically run 9–12 weeks, with five- and six-figure ACVs. The UK sales motion is still being built, giving you significant influence over the ICP, sales process, and go-to-market strategy.
What You’ll Do

- Generate the majority of your own pipeline through strategic outbound efforts
- Run compelling demos of a complex ERP product with minimal Solutions Consultant support
- Sell multi-stakeholder deals to CFOs, controllers, and senior finance leaders
- Manage 9–12 week mid-market sales cycles with five- and six-figure ACVs
- Help build and refine the company's UK sales motion and ICP
- Develop strong relationships with executive and finance stakeholders
- Feed prospect insights directly back into the product roadmap
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, partnerships, and GTM teams
- Help establish the company's presence within the UK finance market
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience
- Proven track record of closing complex B2B SaaS deals
- Experience selling to CFO, CTO, or equivalent executive-level buyers
- Strong hunter mentality and demonstrated ability to generate your own outbound pipeline
- Ability to independently demo a genuinely complex product
- 90%+ quota attainment for each of the last 3 years
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles and complex negotiations
- Strong ownership, commercial judgment, and ability to operate with limited structure
- Comfortable building a sales motion rather than inheriting an established playbook
- Excellent English communication skills
- Based in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience selling ERP products such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar
- Experience selling software or tooling into finance and accounting teams
- Experience selling complex technical products in B2B SaaS
- Existing relationships with CFOs, controllers, or finance leaders
- Strong curiosity about finance and accounting
Benefits & Perks
- £30,000–£40,000 in equity
- £95,000–£125,000 base salary
- £95,000–£125,000 uncapped commission
- £180,000–£250,000 OTE
- Health, medical, dental, and vision coverage

Our mission is to automate coding. The first step in our journey is to build the best tool for professional programmers, using a combination of inventive research, design, and engineering. Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We enjoy spirited debate, crazy ideas, and shipping code.
About the role
As Regional Director of the High Tech vertical at SpaceXAI, you'll build and lead a team of Strategic Account Executives driving revenue growth across a portfolio of large engineering organizations in the region. You'll be a hands-on leader — coaching your team through complex enterprise sales cycles, building the processes and playbooks that scale our go-to-market motion, and serving as a senior voice for the enterprise customer inside SpaceXAI.
This is an early and foundational sales leadership role. You'll help define what great enterprise sales looks like at SpaceXAI for this vertical, working closely with GTM, Product, and Engineering to land and expand SpaceXAI across the world's most sophisticated software teams.
What you'll do:
Hire, develop, and coach a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives to meet and exceed regional revenue targets
Build and execute a sales strategy, owning pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and overall territory performance
Get into deals — support your team on complex, high-stakes opportunities by engaging directly with engineering leaders, CTOs, and executive stakeholders across the region
Drive operational rigor: maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline inspection, and CRM hygiene across the team
Partner with Enablement to accelerate AE ramp time and build training programs tailored to Cursor's enterprise sales motion
Work closely with Product and Field Engineering to shape how we position and demonstrate Cursor to engineering organizations at scale
Gather and synthesize customer and market feedback to inform product direction and go-to-market strategy
Build the playbooks, processes, and institutional knowledge that will scale Cursor's enterprise sales organization as we grow
You may be a fit if:
You have 10+ years of enterprise sales experience and 3+ years leading high-performing AE teams, ideally selling developer tools, technical SaaS, or AI products
You have a track record of building teams from the ground up and developing AEs into top performers
You're a hands-on leader who stays close to deals — you coach through live opportunities, not just pipeline reviews
You bring strong operational discipline: you know how to run a forecast, inspect a pipeline, and build repeatable sales processes
You're technically fluent enough to hold credible conversations with senior engineers and CTOs about how Cursor fits into how software gets built
You thrive in an early-stage environment and are excited to build the systems and culture of a sales organization, not just manage one
You care deeply about AI and believe that transforming how software is written is one of the most important problems to work on right now

As RD, Public Sector Field Engineering, you'll manage and develop Field Engineers who partner closely with Public Sector AEs to run technical discovery, demos, and proofs of concept inside government procurement and security constraints. You'll also stay close to customers and deals yourself, coaching in real time, unblocking complex evaluations, and ensuring Cursor is positioned as the best AI-native development platform for public sector engineering organizations.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines technical fluency, public sector domain credibility, strong people management, and excellent cross-functional judgment.
What you'll do
Build and lead a Field Engineering team supporting Federal and SLED enterprise opportunities
Partner closely with Public Sector Sales leadership and AEs to drive high quality technical discovery, demos, and POCs within government evaluation processes
Establish best practices for evaluations, proof-of-concept execution, and technical deal strategy that account for public sector requirements — FedRAMP, StateRAMP, air-gapped/on-prem environments, security authorization processes
Serve as an escalation point for complex customer evaluations and high-stakes public sector deals
Hire, onboard, and develop top-tier Field Engineering talent with public sector or regulated-environment domain experience; set clear expectations and career paths
Act as the voice of the field internally, feeding agency and institutional customer insights back to Product and Engineering to shape the public sector roadmap
Partner with Legal, Security, and Compliance to ensure technical evaluations meet the bar required to sell into government environments
Ensure tight handoffs with post-sales teams to support successful onboarding and adoption in public sector accounts
Maintain deep knowledge of Cursor's product, roadmap, and competitive landscape, plus the public sector security and compliance landscape
You may be a fit if
You have 6+ years experience leading Field Engineers, Solutions Architects, or Pre-Sales teams in enterprise software, with meaningful time spent in Federal and/or SLED environments
You have direct experience navigating public sector technical evaluation processes — security authorizations, compliance reviews, and procurement-driven POC requirements
You have a strong technical foundation and fluency in modern software development workflows, AI tooling, and developer productivity
You have proven your ability to partner effectively with Sales while maintaining technical integrity and customer trust in high-stakes, high-scrutiny deal environments
You are comfortable operating in customer-facing, high-pressure deal environments and guiding teams through complexity
You have strong communication skills and executive presence, able to engage agency technical leadership, CTOs, and compliance stakeholders
You have a builder mindset: you thrive in fast-moving, startup environments and enjoy creating structure where little exists

As a Commercial Account Executive at Cursor, you'll drive revenue growth by building strategic relationships with customers and helping them realize the full potential of Cursor for their development teams. You'll cover the full spectrum, from high velocity fast-growing startups to more complex Mid-Market deals, adapting your playbook to each.
You'll work closely with engineering organizations to understand their development workflows, demonstrate how Cursor transforms developer productivity, and guide them through evaluation, implementation, and expansion. This role combines technical fluency with sales expertise to help companies reimagine how software gets built with AI.
What you'll do
Win new business and drive revenue for Cursor. Find your way to the right people at prospective customers, educate them about AI-powered development, and help them succeed. You'll own the full sales cycle, from first call to close
Become a trusted product expert; guide prospects through trials, evaluations, and rollouts
Build and manage a healthy high velocity pipeline, meeting and exceeding quarterly targets
Lead multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, and Legal
Develop executive relationships and day-to-day champions within each account
Quantify value with clear ROI cases tied to developer productivity and AI adoption
Design and execute innovative sales strategies; analyze market trends and translate high-level plans into targeted activities and campaigns
Be the voice of the customer and influence the roadmap with actionable feedback
Continuously refine the sales methodology by incorporating learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices
You may be a fit if
You have 3+ years of closing experience in tech sales, ideally selling developer tools, technical SaaS, or emerging technologies
You have a consistent track record of landing new logos and exceeding quota and managing a high velocity of deals
You're a true hunter - you proactively build pipeline from scratch through outbound prospecting, creative sourcing, and relentless follow-up, rather than relying on inbound demand
You're comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and selling to technical stakeholders, from ICs to CTOs
You bring an analytical approach to understanding customer needs combined with creative, tactical follow-through to advance opportunities
You have a knack for bringing order to chaos and a genuine "roll up your sleeves" mentality
You're an excellent communicator who can present confidently and build trust across all levels of an organization
You're passionate about AI and excited by the idea that transforming how software gets written is one of the most important problems to work on right now

Our organization is very flat, and our team is small and talent dense. We particularly like people who are truth-seeking, passionate, and creative. We're hiring Field Engineers to partner with prospective and strategic enterprise customers across Life Sciences. You'll be the technical face of Cursor for the scientific organizations shortening the path from lab to market: helping programmers, researchers, scientists, and commercial teams evaluate Cursor, running proofs of concept, and making sure they see the full value of agentic coding in their real workflows.
You'll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Engineering as a deal partner, not a demo resource. You'll scope solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor across the stakeholders that matter in Life Sciences: engineering leaders, architects, developers, scientific computing, R&D, and commercial IT. This is a highly customer-facing role where deep technical fluency, commercial instinct, and clear communication drive adoption and influence product direction.
What you'll do
Partner with AEs to own technical discovery, demos, POCs, and expansion with technical validation
Build trusted relationships across engineering, scientific computing, R&D, and commercial IT
Go deep in research-heavy and regulated environments: developer workflows, AI tooling, complex setups
Help customers connect Cursor to outcomes that matter: faster R&D cycles and a shorter path from lab to market
Deliver technical presentations, whiteboards, and workshops for scientific and commercial audiences
Act as the customer's technical advocate internally with Product and Engineering
Partner with post-sales to hand off cleanly and set up onboarding for success
Stay sharp on Cursor and the competitive landscape so you can go toe to toe in the room
You may be a fit if
You have strong communication skills and executive presence, equally comfortable coding alongside developers or presenting to CTOs and scientific leaders
You understand the SDLC and can connect technical detail to business and scientific impact
You have hands-on technical fluency (not full-time eng): workflows, AI tooling, complex environments
You have deal-partner instinct: co-own with AEs and navigate complex stakeholder maps
You're customer-obsessed and can translate technical detail into why it matters for the organization
You have experience in Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Consulting
You're excited by Life Sciences and comfortable learning regulated / research-heavy orgs fast
You're motivated by putting AI in the hands of people accelerating benefits for humanity
