This also includes:
- Contributing to management of Climate Bonds’ internal cross-team policy network of analysts to help foster coherence and quality of policy outputs.
  • Support Climate Bonds work in advocacy and influence work on the topics listed above. Representing the organization externally.
  • Maintain and regularly engage with network of stakeholders, internally and externally to support advocacy, influence work, and collaborate. This should be based on a good understanding of the key stakeholders in the net zero transition in key sectors, both at global (e.g. G20, SFWG, G7, etc) and regional and national levels (e.g. national policy-makers, regulators).
  • Contribute to the team’s growth through identifying opportunities, contributing to project proposals, and pitching new ideas.

Essential:
  • Being a self-starter, motivated and ambitious candidate willing to grow within the team and support its expansion.
  • Being able to function with minimal supervision and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills, strong communication skills, ability to function in diverse, remote and multi-cultural teams.
  • At least three years of work experience in a policy role in the fields of sustainable finance, climate transition, or climate resilience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline – policy, economics, finance, environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant global policy landscape and of policy context in one or more regions. Ability to identify and analyse events that shape policy developments
  • Understanding of financial markets – with a focus on debt markets – and how those can contribute to the financing of the transition to net zero
