Data Analyst, Regulatory Analytics and Reporting

You will turn complex compliance and regulatory data into actionable insights. You will build and maintain datasets, pipelines, dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports; automate workflows and governance controls; monitor data quality; support audits and risk assessments; and communicate findings to compliance and leadership stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design dashboards, compliance metrics, and regulatory reports
• Automate compliance-related data solutions, governance controls, and workflows
• Analyze complex datasets and create scalable, audit-ready data models
• Translate regulatory and business requests into reports and automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Airflow
• Lead cross-functional data-pipeline and data-source projects
• Monitor client data quality, identify issues, and coordinate remediation
• Support data requests for audits, exams, risk assessments, and business needs
• Deliver data-driven compliance insights

Requirements

• 5+ years of data analysis and data management experience in financial services or a regulated industry
• Experience with compliance and regulatory reporting frameworks including AML, KYC, Sanctions, MiCA, or MiFID
• Understanding of regulatory risk and audit-ready environments
• Expert SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions
• Proficiency with Python, pandas, matplotlib, and plotly
• Experience with dbt or similar data-modeling tooling
• Experience managing data pipelines and workflow orchestration
• Proficiency with QuickSight, Power BI, or Superset
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
