Active 24/7 Monitoring
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a (Senior) Product Engineer (Backend) based in United Kingdom.
As a backend-focused Product Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building reliable, scalable SaaS products that directly improve the way frontline employees work. You’ll take deep ownership of backend systems while staying connected to the broader product and user experience. Working within a cross-functional product squad, you’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and AI. The role encourages end-to-end ownership, from understanding user needs and shaping solutions to prototyping, shipping, and measuring impact. You’ll also use modern AI coding tools to expand your reach across unfamiliar parts of the technology stack. It’s an environment built around curiosity, adaptability, strong engineering judgment, and continuous learning.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable backend services and product features using Kotlin or Java and modern web frameworks.
- Take ownership of features from initial user problem discovery through development, rollout, and evaluation of their impact.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate ideas and user needs into high-quality shipped experiences.
- Contribute beyond the backend when needed, including web, mobile, infrastructure, and other parts of the product stack.
- Use AI coding assistants to navigate unfamiliar codebases, accelerate development, prototype solutions, and deliver well-structured changes outside your primary specialization.
- Explore user problems through prototypes, instrumentation, experimentation, and collaboration with product or customer-facing teams.
- Help evolve engineering practices toward more end-to-end, product-minded ownership and AI-enabled development.
- Contribute to reliable deployment and infrastructure practices, with opportunities to work with Kubernetes, Helm, messaging systems, and related technologies.
Requirements:
- Professional experience in backend software engineering, with a strong foundation in Kotlin or Java and experience with frameworks such as Micronaut or Spring.
- Experience developing SaaS products, ideally within an Agile and cross-functional product environment.
- A backend specialization combined with a willingness and ability to contribute to frontend, mobile, infrastructure, or other areas when required.
- Familiarity with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools, or a strong willingness to incorporate them into your workflow.
- Strong product mindset and ownership mentality, with a focus on understanding user problems and delivering measurable outcomes rather than simply completing technical tickets.
- Ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong curiosity, adaptability, engineering judgment, and willingness to learn new technologies and ways of working.
- Experience working with designers, mockups, or prototypes is a plus.
- Experience with instrumentation, experimentation, A/B testing, Grafana, or Mixpanel is a plus.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm is a plus.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka is a plus.
- Candidates at different experience levels are welcome, including engineers early in their careers who have gained relevant experience alongside their studies.
Benefits:
- Remote-first working model with flexibility to work from home.
- Opportunities for occasional in-person collaboration through team events, workshops, and meetings in Berlin or Stuttgart, with advance notice.
- Flexibility to work remotely from other locations within the European Union.
- E-Gym-Wellpass membership covered by the employer.
- Job bike leasing.
- Relaxed, collaborative environment with highly motivated and committed colleagues.
- Strong opportunity to shape products and contribute directly to the growth of a young technology organization.
- Regular team events and culture days focused on collaboration and connection.
- Supportive environment with tools, practices, and colleagues that encourage continuous technical and product development.
- Opportunity to deepen backend expertise while growing into a product-minded, AI-enabled engineering role.

- Manage relationships with external sales and appointment-setting agencies, covering sourcing, benchmarking, interviews, negotiations, contracts, and ongoing performance management.
- Define and monitor agency performance metrics, including connect rate, booked calls per hour, show rate, and close rate.
- Verify agency-reported sales against internal systems and manage the reconciliation process before results reach Finance.
- Manage lead lists for external sales, including failed payments, abandoned checkouts, and churned customers, and monitor conversion performance.
- Support sales enablement through training content, objection handling, one-pagers, pricing clarity, and booking-flow quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate retention data, including offers, refund reasons, call outcomes, and case statuses.
- Present retention, onboarding, and external sales performance to leadership with clear analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Translate recurring churn and customer feedback into specific issues for Product and Marketing, following through on whether improvements deliver results.
- Maintain working documentation such as retention playbooks, call scripts, and transcript libraries.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in retention, customer success, customer-facing sales, or a related commercial role, including at least 2 years owning a measurable commercial outcome.
- Demonstrated success improving a retention, churn, conversion, or comparable business metric, supported by measurable results.
- Experience managing agencies, contractors, vendors, or other external partners against defined performance standards.
- Experience designing and running structured experiments rather than simply executing established processes.
- Strong understanding of retention strategy, including churn drivers, save offers, win-back approaches, and customer lifetime value in a high-value or premium environment.
- Strong commercial and sales skills, including funnel optimization, objection handling, conversion techniques, and understanding of customer decision-making.
- Strong data fluency, with the ability to build and interrogate datasets, design valid tests, interpret results, and translate findings into action.
- Confidence using tools such as Airtable and Google Sheets, along with CRM, ticketing, and scheduling platforms such as Zendesk.
- Comfortable using AI tools for transcription, case analysis, reporting, and workflow optimization.
- Strong customer empathy, sound judgement, and integrity when handling sensitive customer situations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong ownership mentality, commercial discipline, and willingness to take responsibility for measurable outcomes.
- A proactive, root-cause-oriented approach to problem solving, with a focus on closing the loop and validating whether changes worked.
- Ability to remain calm and effective when customer and case volumes increase around launches or refund periods.
- Experience with online learning platforms, premium programs, or international customer bases is advantageous.
- A genuine interest in personal growth and development is valued; familiarity with personal-development content is a plus.
Benefits:
- High-ownership role with direct influence over customer experience, retention, sales performance, and revenue.

About the role
ElevenLabs is building the creative suite for the AI generation. Millions of creators and marketers already use our platform to generate speech, music, images, and video, and our social presence needs to match the speed and ambition of the product.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to own and elevate the social presence across both the ElevenLabs and ElevenCreative brands. You will own ElevenCreative on X and LinkedIn, ElevenLabs on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and our community on Discord.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of content strategy, lightweight video editing, and community. You will plan the calendar, capture product moments with our AI creative producers and product teams, and do the recording and editing yourself using tools like Screen Studio, assembling clips, adding text and motion, and adapting each post natively for its platform. You will stay ahead of trends and cultural moments, up-level the brand voice and the quality bar across channels, track performance, and use the data to keep improving what we publish.
The right person lives on social platforms, understands what makes content work natively on each one, and has strong opinions about how an AI-native brand should show up. You should be comfortable writing sharp copy, running a content calendar across multiple channels, and thinking strategically about audience growth and brand positioning.
What you will do
Own the social content calendar across X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn for both ElevenCreative and ElevenLabs, plus our community on Discord, from planning through publishing
Coordinate with AI creative producers and product teams to capture product moments such as screen recordings, motion demos, and feature walkthroughs, and adapt them into social-ready assets
Record and edit content yourself using tools like Screen Studio, assembling clips, adding text and motion overlays, and formatting natively for each platform
Own and grow our Discord community, sparking conversation, surfacing feedback, and keeping it active
Plan and execute social content around product launches, feature releases, and company moments
Work with the creator partnerships and community teams to source creator work, align on campaigns, and amplify content across channels
Monitor platform analytics, tracking engagement, reach, follower growth, and conversion, and use the data to refine strategy
Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural moments to find opportunities for the brand
Up-level the brand voice and raise the quality bar across every channel, keeping a consistent identity
Manage community engagement across platforms, responding to comments, surfacing feedback, and joining the right conversations
Develop and iterate on content formats that drive engagement and show product capabilities to creators and marketers
Requirements
Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a technology or creative tools company, with a portfolio of work you can share
Ability to do lightweight video editing, assembling clips, adding text and motion overlays, and formatting content for different platforms
Comfortable recording and editing your own content with tools like Screen Studio, turning product moments into native posts without waiting on a producer
Proven ability to write sharp, platform-native copy across X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Fluency in social analytics, you know how to pull insights from native platform dashboards and translate them into content decisions
Experience coordinating content across cross-functional teams (video, community, partnerships, product marketing)
A genuine understanding of the AI and creative tools landscape, you follow the space, use the tools, and have informed opinions about where things are headed
Bonus
Experience managing social for a product used by creators and marketers (e.g., Adobe, Canva, Figma, Runway, or similar)
Experience running or growing a community channel such as Discord
Experience with social scheduling and management tools (Sprout Social, Later, Buffer, or similar)
Experience building a social presence from early stage or leading a rebrand on social
Multilingual capabilities
Growth potential
We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth. Here are some of the career paths you can expect after excelling in this role:
Lead social strategy across all ElevenLabs brands and sub-brands as the social function scales
Move into a broader content role spanning video, editorial, and social
Expand into brand marketing or creative direction as the growth team evolves
Location
This role is remote and can be executed globally. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London, New York, Madrid, Warsaw and many more.

Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
Metronome is a usage-based billing platform and a Stripe product. It helps modern software companies launch products faster, offer flexible pricing models, and streamline finance workflows.
The Metronome Integration Engineering team sits at the intersection of sales, growth, product, and research and development. We own the technical aspects of the customer lifecycle after a sale and before the customer transitions to our post-implementation teams.
What you'll do
As an Integration Engineer, you’ll help customers implement Metronome successfully and realize value quickly. You’ll lead technical work across requirements gathering, solution and integration design, configuration, testing, data migration, launch, and handoff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery and scoping to understand customers’ challenges across billing, product launches, pricing and packaging, quote-to-cash, customer experience, and related areas.
- Support customers throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, integration design, testing, data migration, and launch.
- Provide expert guidance on usage-based pricing and consumption-based business models.
- Configure Metronome’s platform on behalf of customers.
- Design integrations between Metronome’s APIs and customers’ business systems—including CRM and CPQ platforms, payment and tax systems, ERP and billing providers, and reporting and analytics tools—in alignment with Metronome best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and Metronome’s research and development teams, advocating for customer needs and feature requests.
- Partner with implementation managers and other project-team members to provide visibility into progress and proactively identify risks and issues.
- Build relationships across customer organizations, from day-to-day operators to C-suite executives. Meet customers in person when doing so will improve the engagement.
- Advise customers on integrating Metronome into their systems and help shape their pricing and packaging strategies.
- Ensure an effective handoff to Customer Success and Technical Support.
You’ll work with some of Metronome’s most strategic customers. These engagements will be complex, deep, and highly technical. Metronome directly influences how modern software companies monetize their products, and this team is on the front lines of that work.
Metronome operates with a startup mindset within Stripe. There is a significant opportunity for people with initiative to influence our direction, build processes from zero to one, and make a meaningful impact.
