About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp is building something ambitious, and we believe our most important advantage is our people. This role sits at the foundation of that belief. You'll help shape how Ramp identifies, evaluates, and hires world-class engineering talent, with a particular focus on the engineers at the center of what we're building next.
This is a craft role. You'll own pipelines end-to-end, partner directly with our Engineering leadership, and be accountable for the quality of the people we bring through the door. We're looking for a Technical Recruiter who treats hiring as a discipline. Someone who cares as much about candidate experience and calibration as they do about closing.
You won't just be working off a req list. We're looking for someone who can take ambiguous or high-level direction from engineering leadership and turn it into a sharp, targeted search, knowing exactly who they want before the role even opens. You'll be expected to have strong opinions on talent, defend them with evidence, and push back on stakeholders when the bar is at risk.
Recruiting at Ramp is owned end-to-end, not handed off. This role requires someone who stays close to the candidate, close to the hiring manager, and close to the work, so context never gets lost between hand-offs.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with our Engineering leadership and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of each role and how it fits into the organization
Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches across our Engineering organization, owning every stage from first touch to signed offer
Build deeply targeted sourcing strategies. Know the companies, the teams, and the individual engineers worth pursuing before opening a search
Partner with our sourcing team to iterate on creative strategies for talent pipelines and competitor mapping
Run candidate process with urgency and care. Same-day follow-up, next steps booked before you hang up, no candidate left chasing us
Manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders. Spot funnel issues early and bring evidence to calibration conversations, not just gut
Drive offer processes for candidates, including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
Act as a strategic advisor, not a req-filler. Anticipate hiring needs, shape strategy alongside engineering stakeholders, and translate abstract asks into concrete target lists, comp frameworks, and close plans
Lead initiatives that raise the bar on how technical recruiting operates at Ramp, including interview loops, interviewer training, scorecards, and other cross-functional efforts that increase hiring quality and speed
Build excellent relationships across the recruiting team and your engineering client groups
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting/sourcing experience in a similar role at a high-growth technology company or startup
Demonstrated track record hiring for deeply technical engineering roles. You can hold a credible conversation with a hiring manager about the work, not just the title
You build and use AI across every stage of the recruiting process, from how you find candidates to how you screen, calibrate, and close them. You're a sourcer at heart, don't wait for inbound, and treat your tooling as part of the craft
Excellent written and verbal storytelling communication skills
Ability to influence at various levels in an organization, anchoring on data-driven decision-making
Operationally strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
Genuine care for the candidate experience. You believe how someone is treated through the process is as much a reflection of Ramp as the offer itself
Benefits available to all full-time Ramp employees (Global)
Flexible PTO
Centralized home-office equipment ordering
Health and wellness stipend
Budget for intra-office travel

About the Role
Technical Consultants are on the frontlines working to establish partnerships with Ramp customers, and act as a liaison between customers and our internal technical teams. You’ll be partnering with Customer Activation & Account Management teams to identify, prioritize and build financial solutions for new and existing customers so that Ramp continues to scale with their needs.
You will act as the technical and financial subject matter expert for our customers, and design solutions that address the customer’s needs through Ramp and partner integrations. Be a subject matter expert across our HRIS and Accounting integration partners, partnering with Sales, Product and partners to advocate for integration development in-line with customer needs
Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions without writing code directly
Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales Ramp’s ability to support integration use cases across a growing customer base

What You Need
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows. SAP S/4HANA or Sage Intacct expertise highly preferred.
Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture and being able to explain those concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
Strong communication skills: able to translate complex technical solutions into business value, guide customers toward scalable approaches, and diplomatically steer conversations when requests are misaligned with best practices or product capabilities
Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action and a high level of ownership
Thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; adaptable and resourceful as we scale Ramp’s upmarket motion

About the Role
The team owns the core experience that helps finance teams control, automate, and optimize company spend.
We build the engine that powers Ramp’s card and expense workflows—from card issuance and spend limits to approvals, policy enforcement, and real-time insights.
Our systems handle billions of dollars in transactions and integrate deeply with Ramp’s AI platform, financial infrastructure, and partner ecosystems (banks, ERPs, HRIS).
As a backend engineer on this team, you’ll work across product surfaces that are central to Ramp’s success: cards, approvals, spend controls, and automation intelligence.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and scale backend systems that power spend controls, approval workflows, and card transactions at massive scale
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data to deliver intelligent, user-first experiences for finance teams
Integrate with Ramp’s internal AI platform to automate spend policy enforcement and anomaly detection
Own complex projects end-to-end — from architecture to deployment and observability
Partner with the Product Platform and Integrations teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and data consistency across financial systems
Continuously improve Ramp’s transaction and policy infrastructure for performance, accuracy, and resilience
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of software engineering experience (backend or fullstack with a backend focus)
Strong fundamentals in backend systems and API design — experience with Python, Go, or TypeScript is ideal
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, AWS, and modern observability tooling
Product sense: ability to balance technical quality with speed and user value
Collaborative, thoughtful communicator who thrives in high-ownership environments
Nice to Have
Fintech or payments experience (cards, reconciliation, transaction processing)
Exposure to AI- or rule-based automation systems
Experience integrating with ERP or accounting systems
Familiarity with security, risk, or compliance-driven domains
Experience building reliable distributed systems that process large volumes of financial or transactional data
Benefits available to all full-time Ramp employees (Global)
Flexible PTO
Centralized home-office equipment ordering
Health and wellness stipend
Budget for intra-office travel
Weekly coffee stipend
United States
100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp's Strategic Enterprise CSMs don't manage accounts — they transform how companies run their finances. This is a role for people who have been inside large organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who already use AI the way surgeons use instruments: not occasionally, not as an experiment, but as the default way they work. You'll be embedded in Ramp's largest, most strategic enterprise accounts, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation — not just onboarding completion.
What You'll Do
Lead enterprise customers through the full transformation journey — from implementation through agentic workflow adoption — with clear accountability for time-to-value and measurable business outcomes
Build and own the change management strategy for each account: map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line
Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in the language CFOs and Controllers care about — close cycle improvement, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI — not just product usage metrics
Run executive-level stakeholder management across multiple layers of a customer org, including C-suite relationships you own independently
Use AI tools daily to prepare for customer calls, build materials, synthesize data, identify account risk, and operate at a pace traditional methods can't match
Help customers understand and adopt Ramp's agentic finance capabilities — positioning new workflows not as features, but as fundamental changes to how their finance team operates
Partner with Account Executives and Technical Consulting to deliver seamless implementations and expand Ramp's footprint within accounts
Bring customer insight back to Product — surfacing patterns, gaps, and opportunities from your accounts to shape how Ramp evolves
Must-Haves
Enterprise change management — You've driven workflow adoption inside complex organizations, navigated real resistance from real stakeholders, and have measurable results to show for it. Finance or fintech context is a plus but not required.
AI fluency as a daily habit — You already use AI tools habitually in your work. You use them to prep for calls, synthesize information, build customer-facing materials, and automate repetitive tasks. This is how you work, not something you're exploring. Ramp is a builder culture: if you don't instinctively reach for AI before doing things manually, this role will be a hard adjustment.
Financial impact communication — You can walk a CFO through the business case for a workflow change, connect implementation milestones to P&L outcomes, and run executive updates in financial terms, not product terms. A finance background is not required — fluency is.
Technical acumen — You can hold your own in conversations with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture. You don't need to code, but credibility in technical conversations is what earns you a seat at the table with the full customer stakeholder group.
7+ years in enterprise customer success or implementations — You’ve spent enough time navigating complex organizations and senior stakeholders that it’s second nature. You know how to move an enterprise, not just support one.
Nice-to-Haves
Agentic workflow experience — You've helped customers adopt AI-powered or agentic workflows at scale. You understand what friction looks like in practice and what makes transformation actually stick.
Finance domain depth — Exposure to FP&A, accounting software ecosystems (Netsuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), expense management, or CFO-adjacent workflows. Accelerates credibility with Ramp's customer base.
Demonstrated commercial impact — You can point to expansion, retention, or time-to-value outcomes with specific metrics attached — not described in general terms.
Background at an AI-first or AI transformation company — not just a company that uses AI, but one where rethinking workflows around it was part of the product or culture
High-growth or startup experience (comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change)
C-suite relationships built and maintained independently, without relying on a sales counterpart
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $198,000- $271,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $178,000- $244,000.

Nice to Haves
Customer‑facing or quota‑carrying experience with a track record of exceeding goals
Experience building education content, webinars, or scaled training programs
What Success Looks Like
In the first 6 months, this leader will have launched and iterated scaled activation programs that measurably increase self‑serve activation and early retention, established a recurring metrics review with dashboards that surface funnel bottlenecks, and lifted team efficiency and CSAT through process, automation, and content improvements while developing a high‑performing team of 6–8 sCSMs.

About the Role
Ramp's Mid-Market Customer Activation Managers don't manage accounts — they transform how companies run their finances. This is a role for people who have been inside organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who already use AI the way surgeons use instruments: not occasionally, not as an experiment, but as the default way they work. You'll own a book of ~45 mid-market customers, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation — not just onboarding completion
What You'll do
Lead mid-market customers through the full transformation journey — from implementation through agentic workflow adoption — with clear accountability for time-to-value and measurable business outcomes
Build and own the change management strategy for each account: map stakeholders, diagnose resistance, build internal coalitions, and drive adoption past the finish line
Quantify and communicate Ramp's impact in the language CFOs and Controllers care about — close cycle improvement, spend visibility, variance reduction, and ROI — not just product usage metric
Run stakeholder management across multiple layers of a customer org, including finance leadership relationships you own independently
What You'll Need
5+ years of customer-facing experience in customer success, consulting, or implementations with a proven, consistent track record of driving customer outcomes and exceeding goals
Demonstrated ability to drive workflow adoption inside organizations, navigate real resistance from real stakeholders, and produce measurable results; finance or fintech context is a plus but not required
AI fluency as a daily habit — you already use AI tools habitually to prep for calls, synthesize information, build customer-facing materials, and automate repetitive tasks; this is how you work, not something you're exploring
Ability to communicate Ramp's impact in financial terms — walking a controller through the business case for a workflow change, connecting implementation milestones to P&L outcomes, and running executive updates that land with finance leaders
Technical acumen to hold your own in conversations with Product and Engineering on integrations, APIs, and workflow architecture; credibility in technical conversations earns you a seat at the table with the full customer stakeholder group
Prior demonstrated success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments, ideally at SaaS or FinTech companies
Strong collaboration and influencing skills across Sales, Product, Operations, and other GTM teams
Nice to Haves
Experience helping customers adopt AI-powered or agentic workflows at scale; understanding of what friction looks like in practice and what makes transformation stick
Exposure to FP&A, accounting software ecosystems (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero), expense management, or CFO-adjacent workflows
Demonstrated commercial impact — expansion, retention, or time-to-value outcomes with specific metrics attached
Background at an AI-first or AI transformation company where rethinking workflows around AI was part of the product or culture
Management consulting background with structured problem-solving, client management, and the ability to turn ambiguity into a plan
High-growth or startup experience with comfort operating in ambiguity and rapid change
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $128,000 - $176,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $115,000- $158,300.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp's Enterprise CSMs don't manage accounts — they transform how companies run their finances. This is a role for people who have been inside large organizations when change was hard, who speak the language of a CFO, and who already use AI the way surgeons use instruments: not occasionally, not as an experiment, but as the default way they work. You'll be embedded in Ramp's enterprise accounts, responsible for driving genuine workflow transformation — not just onboarding completion.
ERP system fluency — You're comfortable working within and around major ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Sage Intacct, or similar). You understand how these systems structure financial data, where integrations typically break, and how workflow changes ripple through an ERP-centric finance stack. This fluency is what lets you speak credibly to Controllers and finance ops teams about how Ramp fits into their existing systems of record.
For candidates located in NYC or SF, the pay range for this role is $163,000 - $262,000. For candidates located in all other locations, the pay range for this role is $147,000- $236,000.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the role
Ramp is building new products that can reshape how finance teams operate. These products begin before the market playbook is obvious: the customer problem is still being sharpened, the product is evolving quickly, and the path from early signal to durable growth must be built.
We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager, New Products to lead that work. You will be embedded with Product and Engineering from the earliest stages, using customer and market insight to help choose the audience, shape the product, define the story, and build the commercialization and adoption motion.
This is not a launch-calendar or asset-production role. You will own the full business read for the product: customer problem, ICP, positioning, product readiness, launch, pipeline, activation, adoption, retention, proof, and the next product or GTM intervention.
What you'll do
Shape product strategy early. Bring customer, market, and competitive evidence into product decisions before the roadmap is fixed. Help the team identify the wedge, target segment, table stakes, differentiators, and highest-leverage problems to solve.
Find product-market clarity. Define the ICP, buyer, user, jobs to be done, workflow, alternatives, and reasons customers will switch or expand.
Own the product narrative. Build the canonical positioning, messaging, claims, proof, and competitive story. Translate technical and operational complexity into a clear customer value proposition without flattening how the product works.
Design the zero-to-one GTM. Determine how the product should enter the market, including audience, channel, pricing and packaging inputs, sales motion, self-serve motion, launch sequence, and adoption plan.
Lead launches end to end. Coordinate Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, Communications, Support, and other partners around one launch strategy, readiness bar, and set of measurable outcomes.
Build commercialization, not just awareness. Create the programs, enablement, proof, and feedback loops that turn interest into qualified pipeline, activation, retained usage, expansion, and revenue.
Work deeply with Product and Engineering. Understand the product's architecture, data, constraints, and trust model well enough to influence tradeoffs and explain it credibly to both technical and business audiences.
Create the customer learning system. Develop direct relationships with buyers and users, run structured discovery, capture objections and product gaps, and turn what you learn into product and GTM decisions.
Own the business scorecard. Define leading and lagging indicators, build a clear operating read, diagnose what is moving or stuck, and recommend the next intervention.
Build proof and competitive intelligence. Develop customer evidence, use cases, benchmarks, and a current view of the market that improve both product decisions and GTM execution.
Use AI as an operating advantage. Apply AI to research, synthesis, analysis, content development, and repeatable workflows—and help the team raise its standard for speed and quality.
Create the new-products playbook. Build a repeatable method for taking an emerging product from customer signal to product-market clarity, launch, commercialization, and scaled growth.
What you'll need
6+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing, product management, growth, strategy, or another product-led GTM function, including significant ownership of a product or business outcome.
Demonstrated zero-to-one experience with a new product, category, platform, or business line—from early customer discovery through launch and adoption.
A record of influencing product strategy using customer, market, competitive, and performance evidence.
Strong customer instincts. You can run discovery, identify the real workflow and buying problem, and separate a loud request from a durable market signal.
Technical and operational fluency. You can learn a complex product, work credibly with Product and Engineering, and explain how it works to different audiences.
Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can produce a sharp product narrative, an executive recommendation, a launch plan, and a sales story that survives contact with customers.
Strong data literacy. You can define and interpret activation, adoption, retention, pipeline, conversion, revenue, and product-usage metrics and turn the findings into a decision.
Proven ability to lead senior partners across Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, and Marketing without relying on formal authority.
High agency and comfort with ambiguity. You build the first version, test it with customers, make tradeoffs, and improve it quickly.
Fluency with AI tools as part of your everyday research, analysis, writing, and operating workflows.
Nice to have
Experience in fintech, payments, accounts receivable, accounting, developer tools, data infrastructure, AI, or another technical and workflow-heavy category.
Experience taking a product from incubation through product-market fit and scaled commercialization.
Experience with both product-led and sales-led growth motions.
Experience contributing to pricing and packaging decisions.
Experience as an early or founding PMM, product manager, founder, or operator in a fast-moving product area.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
As a Product Designer at Ramp, you are accountable for outcomes, not just artifacts. You work with PMs, engineers, and other designers to define the right problems, explore and validate solutions, and ship product experiences that change customer behavior.
Design at Ramp is AI first and builder led. Work starts in an LLM, moves into tools like Claude and Cursor to explore flows and interactions, and then comes into Figma for systems and polish. Designers prototype early, test with real customers, and stay involved through launch and iteration.
We are looking for multiple product designers who are excited to work this way and who want to use AI as a core part of how they design.
What You’ll Do
Own product work end to end: Partner with PM and engineering to define problems, explore solution spaces, validate concepts, and ship product improvements that move key metrics. Stay involved through launch and iteration, not just handoff.
Start in an LLM: Use tools like Claude to clarify intent, draft short PRDs, and surface risks, edge cases, and initial approaches. Use this work to align quickly with your team.
Validate assumptions with self-serve research: Talk directly with customers, run quick tests, and use what you learn to adjust direction. Treat research as a velocity tool, not a gate.
Prototype using AI tools: Use Cursor and Claude Code to build and iterate on flows and simple interfaces. Let AI generate code while you guide structure, behavior, and UX quality. Partner with engineers to decide what moves into the product.
Bring work into Figma: Translate validated concepts into Figma for full state coverage, system alignment, and production readiness.
Design for the 80 / 20: Encode judgment and complexity under the hood while keeping the default experience simple and successful for most customers.
Contribute to patterns and culture: Share prompts, patterns, and learnings with the design org. Participate in crits and reviews that raise the bar for quality.
