About Brave
Brave is on a mission to protect the human right to privacy online. We’ve built a free web browser that blocks creepy ads and trackers by default, a private search engine with a truly independent index, a private ad network (opt-in!) that directly rewards you for your attention, and a browser-native AI integration focused on keeping private data private. And we’re just getting started. Already 110 million people have switched to Brave for a faster, more private web. Millions more switch every month.
The internet is a sea of ads, hackers, and echo chambers. Big Tech makes huge profits off our data, and tells us what’s true and what’s not. Brave is fighting back. Join us!
The Browser AI team are building core browser features, and exploring new ideas about how the personal nature of the browser can help create the best AI experience for research and creative tasks. Brave allows the user to attach tabs, history, bookmarks and files to AI conversations. Brave also allows the user to experiment with AI joining in with its own web browsing. We’re looking for a new team member capable of iterating these ideas and creating beautiful user experiences for these features. UI engineers will often work with other engineers to create the end-to-end features, or develop the skills necessary to implement the entire feature themselves.
Brave has an exciting UI engineering culture. We share knowledge and patterns across both teams and disciplines, overlapping closely with designers. We work with internal design systems, multiple UI frameworks, and make effective decisions on these features as a team.
This role is at an exciting intersection between web UI, web browser internals, and AI possibilities.
Brave is a start-up, and we have the ability to change plans quickly in response to new information or circumstances. This means that new needs can emerge on short notice, and projects are often re-mixed and adjusted in response to new input. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to influence those choices and other areas of the team.
Many engineers in this role at Brave start from a frontend or full-stack background and grow into browser-level C++ feature work over time.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing browser-integrated Web UI (e.g. AI conversations, browser settings, new tab page) using Typescript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS with React as well as other frameworks such as Web Components, Svelte and Lit
- Working with our product development team to collaborate on designs and specs and bring them to life on Brave’s desktop and mobile browsers
- Integrating with custom browser APIs using Chromium’s communications frameworks.
- Helping to customize the native UI provided by Chromium to add new product features and modify existing features. These UI elements include toolbars, modals, buttons, and more
- Delivering code which is well tested with high confidence
- Working alongside and learn from our experienced Chromium engineers - helping with peer reviews and helping improve our engineering processes
Required experience:
- Strong skills building complex web apps with state management
- Deep knowledge of a Javascript UI framework such as React, Svelte, Vue, or native Web Components
- Proven expertise with CSS for building UI
- Commitment to various UI accessibility and localization techniques
- C++ expertise or experience with Chromium is required
- Understanding of performance impact and how both to measure and make improvements
Preferred experience:
- Working with and graspine large code repositories
- AI coding tools
- Knowledge of how LLMs and their associated tools and APIs work
Working at Brave
- Industry-leader in privacy, with a research and engineering team that’s innovating everyday to keep people safer online and beat Big Tech
- Highly competitive salaries & benefits, and generous home-office stipends
- Fully remote team (no office, no commute)
- Minimal meetings
- Welcoming, humble, ridiculously smart teammates, and a truly flat org structure
- Opportunity to get in early at a hyper-growth company, and revolutionize the web
- Oh, and did we mention Brendan, our CEO & co-founder, invented JavaScript?

This role is part of Datadog’s Security Agent team, which powers critical security capabilities across Workload Protection, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security products, and other emerging security offerings. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of low-level Linux instrumentation and runtime security technologies that help customers detect threats, monitor system activity, and protect cloud-native workloads at scale. You will work on complex technical challenges involving eBPF, Linux kernel internals, performance-sensitive systems, and large-scale data collection while influencing technical direction across multiple product teams. This role offers significant ownership, broad organizational impact, and the opportunity to shape the future of Datadog’s security platform.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the architecture and development of security agent capabilities that power runtime threat detection and workload protection across Datadog Security products.
- Design and build reusable eBPF-based monitoring functionality for process, file, and network visibility within Linux environments.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of new features, from technical strategy and design through implementation, testing, and rollout.
- Establish and evolve testing methodologies that improve platform coverage, detection quality, reliability, and performance.
- Partner with product, security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver shared platform capabilities used across multiple Datadog products.
- Provide technical leadership by influencing engineering direction, mentoring peers, and helping resolve complex cross-functional challenges.
Who You Are:
- You have significant experience building software in Linux environments, including knowledge of Linux internals, kernel APIs, or systems programming.
- You have hands-on experience with eBPF, kernel-level instrumentation, driver development, networking systems, agent development, or related low-level technologies.
- You've built and run systems where performance and reliability actually matter.
- You have experience building and maintaining production software across diverse Linux distributions and kernel versions.
- You are product-minded and customer-focused, balancing technical excellence with customer impact and usability.
About Datadog:

As a Staff Application Security Engineer at Datadog, you'll set technical direction for how we approach application security at scale. You'll define the frameworks, methodologies, and architectural patterns that engineering teams across Datadog adopt and apply independently. You're the person others come to when they don't know how to make something secure, and you reliably have an answer.
You'll be a point of contact for our most complex security programs, often spanning multiple teams and multiple quarters. The role requires both depth (going very deep on specific problems when needed) and breadth (recognizing patterns across systems and drawing connections that others miss). Partnering closely with teams inside and outside the security org is key to success. You'll help shape the AppSec roadmap and make the case for where investment should go.
We use our own platform. Logs, Dashboards, Service Catalog, and APM aren't just things we sell: they're tools the AppSec team uses to build security services, measure adoption of secure defaults, and communicate risk across the organization.
AI is also part of the picture. Engineering at Datadog increasingly uses agentic tooling throughout the development lifecycle, and many of the products we ship to customers now include AI-powered features. Both create new attack surfaces, and defining our strategy for addressing them is part of this role.
If using Datadog to observe Datadog's own security posture, building impactful tooling, and shaping how we secure AI-powered systems sounds like the right kind of problem, this role is worth a close look.
What You’ll Do:
-
Define and drive security standards and secure-by-default solutions, serving as the Application Security subject matter expert.
-
Build security tooling and automation that scales security practices across engineering teams, and implement robust security observability to support our threat detection team with meaningful, actionable security signals.
-
Lead threat modeling and risk assessment for high-risk features and platform changes.
-
Assess and address security risks introduced by agentic development practices and AI-powered product features in production
-
Partner with engineering teams to prioritize and remediate critical threats, define API security standards, and conduct security code reviews.
-
Identify systemic security risks; lead complex, multi-team remediation efforts end-to-end
-
Partner with Cloud & Infrastructure Security and other teams across the org on cross-domain problems; be the AppSec point of contact on complex cross-domain problems
-
Serve as the AppSec subject matter expert across Datadog; be the person engineering leadership calls when they need clarity on a hard security problem
-
Deeply invest in the growth of AppSec engineers on the team
Who You Are:
-
Software engineering background with hands-on code review experience; Go (preferred), Python, or Rust
-
Demonstrated ability to level up the engineers around you: through design reviews, mentorship, and the quality of your documentation
-
Solid grounding in OWASP Top 10, web vulnerabilities (XSS, injection, access control, cryptography), SAST, and DAST
-
Working knowledge of API security: authentication flows, authorization patterns, and input validation at API boundaries
-
Track record of leading threat modeling on complex, multi-team systems and translating outcomes into architectural decisions
-
Experience implementing secure-by-default frameworks and integrating security into core platforms alongside product managers and engineering teams
-
Able to translate business risk into security investment priorities and communicate tradeoffs clearly to executive audiences
-
Familiarity with software supply chain security: dependency management, artifact integrity, and build pipeline trust
-
Bias toward implementing solutions and driving adoption, not just surfacing findings
-
Proven track record of winning buy-in from technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to communicate complex tradeoffs clearly to engineers, product managers, and leadership
-
Current on security best practices, emerging threats, and the tooling landscape
Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
Benefits and Growth:
-
New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
-
Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
-
Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
-
An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)
-
Access to Inclusion Talks, our internal panel discussions
-
Free, global mental health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
-
Competitive global benefits
Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.

- Partner with stakeholders across Channels & Alliances, Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Enablement teams to bring programs to life
- Develop the operational processes and requirements needed to support successful execution and long-term scalability
- Measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on performance and partner feedback.
- Translate successful initiatives into repeatable and scalable programs that can be adopted more broadly across the partner ecosystem
- Manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
Who You Are
- 8+ years of experience in partner programs, program management, business operations, strategy & operations, consulting, or a related function within a SaaS or technology company
- Proven experience building and scaling partner programs from the ground up
- Experience developing partner incentives, partner enablement initiatives and translating them into scalable programs, processes, or go-to-market motions
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including experience supporting or working within consumption-based and usage-based software businesses
- Experience working cross-functionally with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Operations, Enablement, Product, and executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives from ideation through execution and long-term adoption
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and create structure where none exists
- Passion for fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable growth environments
Bonus Points
- Quantitative background in business, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, analytics, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting channel, alliance, cloud, or ecosystem partner programs
- Background in SaaS and/or consumption-based software platforms
- Experience building programs that require alignment across commercial, operational, and legal stakeholders

Senior Capture Manager, Federal Systems Integrators - Public Sector
As the Senior Capture Manager, Federal Systems Integrators (FSI), you will lead joint capture and channel coordination across Datadog's federal systems integrator and prime-contractor ecosystem, serving as the connective tissue between those partners and Datadog's internal federal sales teams. You will make sure capture activity happening inside FSI partner organizations is visible to, aligned with, and reinforced by Datadog's own federal sellers, and vice versa, so that partner-led and direct-led motions strengthen a pursuit rather than duplicate or collide with it. The role reports to the Channel & Alliances (C&A) organization and works cross-functionally with federal sales, distribution (Carahsoft, Vertosoft), deal desk, and legal to drive joint capture outcomes on priority federal pursuits.
Travel: Less than 25%
Clearance: An active U.S. government security clearance is preferred but not required. Candidates without an active clearance are encouraged to apply.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You'll Do:
- Own the joint-capture strategy and partner alignment for a portfolio of approximately 20 priority federal programs, engaging 12-24 months ahead of RFP release
- Manage each named program as a distinct capture effort, coordinating dedicated engagement across agency stakeholders, FSI partners, and independent software vendors (ISVs)
- Identify requirements, shape acquisition strategy, engage agencies, primes, and partners, and position Datadog ahead of procurement
- Act as the primary liaison between FSI partners and Datadog's internal federal sales teams, ensuring each side knows what the other is doing on a given program
- Build and maintain a documented capture plan for each named program covering mission, stakeholders, funding, acquisition path, competition, partners, Datadog's position, and next milestone
- Identify and resolve channel conflict early, surfacing where a partner-led and direct-led pursuit are converging on the same account or contract vehicle and brokering a single aligned approach
- Partner with distribution (Carahsoft, Vertosoft) to keep pricing, SKU naming, and quoting consistent across contract vehicles, including the GSA Schedule and SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement)
- Coordinate teaming strategy with FSI partners, including how partners team with primes and other systems integrators, and flag most-favored-nation (MFN) or pricing-consistency issues to deal desk before they become customer-facing problems
- Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) and sources-sought responses in partnership with federal sales, solutions engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders. This role shapes response strategy and reviews submissions but is not solely responsible for authoring them.
- Advance qualified pursuits through customer discovery, partner teaming, and architectural inclusion, then transfer qualified pursuits to Account Executives (AEs) and Partner Sales Managers (PSMs) for execution
- Build durable working relationships with FSI partner capture and Business Development (BD) leads and with Datadog's federal account teams so coordination happens proactively, not only when escalated
Who You Are:
- 8-10+ years of experience in capture management, channel/alliances, or business development within U.S. federal technology sales, with direct exposure to partner-led (sell-thru) motions through systems integrators or primes
- Experience specifically bridging channel/alliance partners and internal direct sales teams, ideally in a partner-liaison or joint-capture role rather than a standalone direct capture role
- Working knowledge of government contract vehicles (GSA Schedule, SEWP) and how pricing, SKUs, and quoting flow through public sector distributors such as Carahsoft and Vertosoft
- Established relationships with, or experience working alongside, major federal systems integrators and primes
- Working familiarity with cloud infrastructure, observability, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps concepts, sufficient to represent Datadog's technical category credibly with partners and agencies
- Confident resolving channel conflict diplomatically, able to align a partner-side team and an internal federal team on a single approach without either side feeling sidelined
- Able to quickly understand deal structure concepts relevant to multi-partner environments - MFN clauses, teaming agreements, pricing consistency across distributors - and explain them to others verbally and in writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including translating between partner-facing and internal-facing audiences
Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
How Success Is Measured:
This role carries defined leading indicators rather than a direct bookings quota, since captures in this motion typically run 12-24 months before transferring to an AE/PSM for close. Success is measured through capture plan completeness and quality, the rate at which programs advance through discovery, partner teaming, and architectural inclusion, and the portfolio's contribution to qualified sourced pipeline and closed bookings over time. Detailed year-over-year targets are tracked internally as part of the C&A scorecard.
Benefits and Growth:
- Meaningful ownership of high-value federal programs from early shaping through capture, with direct influence on how Datadog wins in the federal market
- New hire stock equity (RSU) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
- Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
- Sales training in MEDDIC and Command of the Message
- Intra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
- An inclusive company culture and the opportunity to join our Community Guilds
- Generous global benefits
Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
This role carries an 85/15 base-to-MBO pay mix, where MBO refers to Management by Objectives. This is not a quota-carrying position; the MBO component is tied to the leading indicators and outcomes described above. Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
