And with 400,000+ travel experiences to explore—everything from simple tours to extreme adventures (and everything in between) —making memories that will last a lifetime has never been easier.
About the Role
We are looking for a product-focused Senior Software Engineer to join our Experiences Engineering team. This is a full-stack role, leveraging Java, SQL, React, AWS and AI tools. It suits "T-shaped" engineers who thrive on autonomy and technical leadership. You’ll build and maintain highly scalable distributed systems that power travel experiences for millions of users globally.
We embrace flexibility in where and how work gets done and also value meaningful in-person moments to connect and collaborate. You can expect a remote-first working model with periodic in-person gatherings at your closest office for team connection, planning, or other key moments. This position is open to candidates based within a commutable distance (generally up to 1.5 hours) of one of our office hubs in London, Oxford, Krakow or Lisbon.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Technical Design: Own features end-to-end, leading the design and implementation of highly visible features while balancing security, privacy, and performance.
- Translate Strategy to Action: Work with Product and Data partners to turn high-level business goals into clear technical specifications, often serving as the technical lead for multi-quarter initiatives.
- Elevate the Team: Set the bar for code quality, lead the adoption of review standards, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Master Agentic AI: Use AI tools as a strategic partner to plan approaches, decompose ambiguous work, and establish new standards for monitoring and reliability.
- Architect for Resilience: Define the operational strategy and design highly fault-tolerant architectures, proactively identifying structural risks and setting the team-wide standards for automation, monitoring, and long-term stability.
- Optimize Systems: Actively look for opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or retire legacy code to reduce complexity and increase team velocity.
Skills & Experience
We typically look for 5+ years’ experience, following a Bachelor’s degree or above in Comp Science or a related field.
- Distributed Systems Expertise: Deep understanding of concurrent programming and experience building high-performance, scalable backend systems in cloud environments.
- Analytical Mindset: A habit of asking "how will we know this worked?" and using operational data or experiment results to validate every significant technical decision.
- Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong experience in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Java, C#, Go, Python) and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks.
- AI Coding: you are fluent coding with either Cursor or Codex/Claude/Open Code.
- Navigating Ambiguity: Comfortable making rational tradeoffs between non-functional requirements and delivery speed in an evolving environment.
- Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to build relationships across disciplines and communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical partners.
We’d love to see experience with NoSQL databases, GraphQL, Kafka, or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Experience building tools or abstractions that provide leverage to an entire engineering team is also a significant plus. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one. More than any specific tool, we value curiosity and the ability to solve problems creatively.
We value engineers from different technical backgrounds. You can complete our coding interview exercises in any language of your choice, but need to be open to working within the Java ecosystem when you join!

Design the experiences that help people understand what to eat, and why, to improve their gut health.
ZOE turns world-leading gut health science into an app people use every day. As a Senior Product Designer you'll own some of the key surfaces, taking loosely defined problems and exploring widely before narrowing in on something worth building. We're looking for real creative range, strong product judgement and exceptional craft — and someone who knows when to keep pushing and when to ship.
🚀 About ZOE
ZOE is a gut health science company that turns world-leading science into everyday gut-health products. The ZOE app helps you understand what you eat and how it affects your body — so you can build healthier habits and improve your gut health over time. It's like having a personal nutrition coach in your pocket!
👥 About the team
You'll join our Product Design team, a small, multi-disciplinary group of Product, Content and Motion Designers, and UX Researchers. We care deeply about solving user problems, creating joyful experiences, and keeping a high bar for craft. We challenge each other, learn together, and believe great work should be fun.
⚙️ About the role
You’ll be embedded in our Core Experience team, partnering with Product, Engineering and Data Analytics to own meaningful areas of the ZOE app end-to-end, from ambiguous problem to shipped experience.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You’ll own complex, strategically important work with little day-to-day direction, and be trusted to set the direction within your areas and to bring the team with you.
You’ll work across both big and small bets: improving existing journeys, but also taking loosely defined problems and generating a wide range of concepts and directions before narrowing in. We’re looking for someone genuinely creative — who can move quickly when the problem is clear, and open it right up when it isn’t. This is not a role for someone who only wants to optimise.
We take a scientific approach, so much of what we ship gets A/B tested. You’ll need strong design convictions, while being willing to let evidence change your mind.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
Shape the right solution
Turn loosely defined problems into clear, compelling product experiences.
Explore genuinely different directions before converging, and challenge the initial hypothesis when needed.
Move comfortably between big bets and small experiments, knowing when to explore broadly and when to make a focused improvement quickly.
Bring strong product judgement, grounded in a real understanding of our users, our science and the wider market: know what matters, make sensible trade-offs, and know when to keep exploring versus move forward.
Work with Product and Data Analytics to shape A/B tests, understand what moved the needle and use the results to decide what happens next.
Create exceptional app experiences
Design high-quality native experiences for iOS and Android, with strong visual and interaction craft.
Translate complex behavioural and scientific concepts into experiences that feel simple, engaging and motivating.
Make data feel rewarding and valuable rather than clinical — scores, trends and states understood at a glance, so people feel encouraged, not judged.
Prototype to test ideas and answer questions, not just present solutions.
Work closely with engineers through implementation, keeping the experience coherent with patterns across the rest of the app and contributing to our Design System.
Own work through to impact
Create momentum and keep work moving: set clear expectations with your team and stakeholders, and keep people informed as things progress.
Make your thinking easy to follow — explain complex problems and design decisions so the wider team can make good calls, and bring people with you rather than presenting at them.
Run usability testing and turn findings into clear recommendations, partnering with UX Research when needed.
Understand how your work performs after launch and use what you learn to improve it.
Raise the bar around you: set the standard through your own work, share what you learn, and help improve how we work as a team.
🧠 What You’ll Bring
Have strong end-to-end consumer native app work in your portfolio, and can talk honestly about it — the thinking, the trade-offs, what you cut and what you’d do differently.
Are genuinely creative — you generate real range, not variations on one idea.
Are energised by ambiguity and comfortable questioning the idea you were handed.
Have experience designing for habit or behaviour change.
Think in user problems, flows and behaviours rather than screens.
Have strong product judgement and can balance user needs, business goals, evidence and craft.
Communicate with clarity and bring people with you — your thinking is easy to follow, challenge and build on.
Can independently take work from an ambiguous starting point through to a high-quality shipped experience.
Are low-ego, pragmatic and take ownership through to the end.
Use AI tools where they genuinely make you better or faster, and know where they don’t.
Why join ZOE?
Genuinely remote-first. We’re built around trust, autonomy and async working.
Work on meaningful problems with real impact on people’s health.
Shape critical member journeys at a pivotal stage of growth.
Collaborate with world-class scientists, designers and technologists.

Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.
Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.
About the role
Fuel and energy is the single largest controllable cost line for almost every fleet on the planet, and most of that money is still spent on gut feel and spreadsheets. Samsara sees exactly how these fleets run, every mile, every gallon, every idle minute. That data is the foundation for a new class of products, and the upside is real: billions of dollars in savings for our customers, and a meaningful cut to their emissions along with it.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll own a product area end to end, from the customer problem to something the world's largest fleets rely on every day. The team's scope is broad — fuel cards and payments, driver and vehicle efficiency, the EV transition, operational cost intelligence — and you'll go deep on one of these. Much of this space has no existing playbook, especially where AI can now catch waste no spreadsheet ever could. It also means working differently: prototyping with AI, testing ideas in days instead of quarters.
You'll spend real time with customers, and just as much with go-to-market on pricing, packaging, and how we tell the savings story, because here selling the value is as much a product decision as building it.
We're hiring for the best product generalists we can find, not for fuel or fleet experience. Find the real customer problem, build conviction, ship a measurable outcome: the domain you learned that in doesn't matter to us.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United States (East and Central Timezones) & Canada as well as in the United Kingdom.
You should apply if:
- You're a strong generalist product manager first: you've built your career on customer discovery, prioritization, and driving cross-functional teams to outcomes. The domain (consumer, fintech, marketplace, whatever) matters far less to us than the muscle.
- You form your own point of view: you don't wait to be told what's worth building. You build conviction from customer evidence and can defend it, even when it differs from where the org was leaning.
- You think and communicate in a straight line: you can take an ambiguous or messy problem and explain it - and your recommendation - clearly and concisely, leading with the answer rather than the journey to get there.
- You want real ownership: you'll own a product area's vision, strategy, and roadmap, including the business outcome, not just the shipped feature. If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara.
- You appreciate candid feedback and an experimental mindset: Samsara employees challenge the status quo and recognize failure as part of the learning process. We encourage each other to be honest and hold ourselves to high standards.
In this role, you will:
- Run deep discovery with the people who live these problems — fleet owners, fuel managers, operations leaders, and finance teams — and turn what you learn into a strategy that ships.
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a key product area, including the business case behind it, not just the backlog.
- Prototype and design MVPs yourself - clickable flows, working demos, rough cuts, often AI-assisted - to pressure-test ideas with customers before committing engineering time.
- Ship customer-facing experiences end to end with design, engineering, and data science, and know enough about the underlying data and systems to be a credible, equal partner.
- Define success metrics, build business cases for new initiatives, and drive a continuous cycle of experimentation and iteration grounded in data and customer feedback.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping customer-facing products used by real customers at scale (not primarily backend, platform, or internal-tooling work).
- You can point to something you designed, prototyped and built yourself, and a cross-functional launch you drove end to end, including the business outcome it produced (revenue, cost, adoption, retention, whatever the right measure was).
- You're comfortable contributing to commercial and go-to-market decisions (pricing, packaging, GTM strategy, or a business case) - not just what to build, but why it's worth building.
- You’re data-driven: you are able to dive into data to identify opportunities and then measure your impact. You prioritise the value you can add to customers, and can get other teams behind you by telling stories with data.
- You have your own product point of view, backed by customer evidence, and you'll defend it even under pushback.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience shipping 0-to-1 products of real scale and complexity, in any domain.
- Experience shipping products that depend on partnerships, integrations, or external data - ecosystems beyond your own engineering team.
- Experience shipping AI- or ML-powered features.
Total Rewards
At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.
Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you’re ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here.
Flexible Working
At Samsara, we embrace a flexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of our teams. Our offices are open for those who prefer to work in-person and we also support remote work where it aligns with our operational requirements. For certain positions, being close to one of our offices or within a specific geographic area is important to facilitate collaboration, access to resources, or alignment with our service regions. In these cases, the job description will clearly indicate any working location requirements. Our goal is to ensure that all members of our team can contribute effectively, whether they are working on-site, in a hybrid model, or fully remotely. All offers of employment are contingent upon an individual’s ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location, if applicable.
Belonging at Samsara
At Samsara, we welcome everyone regardless of their background. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, and other characteristics protected by law. We depend on the unique approaches of our team members to help us solve complex problems and want to ensure that Samsara is a place where people from all backgrounds can make an impact.
Accommodations
Samsara is an inclusive work environment, and we are committed to ensuring equal opportunity in employment for qualified persons with disabilities. Please email [email protected] or click here if you require any reasonable accommodations throughout the recruiting process.
Our Commitment to Authenticity
We use Tofu, a fraud detection tool, to validate the authenticity of applications and protect against identity fraud. This ensures we are connecting with real people and allows us to prioritize genuine candidates. Please see Samsara’s Candidate Privacy Notice for more information.

About Supabase
Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth.
About the Role
We are hiring a AI Platform Engineer to build the execution layer for Supabase's internal AI systems.
Supabase is building an AI-native internal operating system: a common way of working across the company where AI carries a meaningful share of the operational load rather than sitting alongside it as an assistant. We are standing up a new central team to build those systems, enable the teams, and embed AI operations throughout the organization. You are the engineer on that team.
The execution layer is yours. You will build the platform that actually runs agents: an event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime, durable state so work survives a restart, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and full logging of every prompt, tool call and decision so any run can be reconstructed. You will build the evaluation layer that makes any of it trustworthy, because an agent that cannot be measured cannot be trusted with anything beyond reading. And you will build the agents themselves, across everything from executive reporting down to a layer of agents that watch the platform and improve it.
This is a governance-heavy environment by design, and that is the interesting part of the problem. Agents are risk-tiered from read-only internal data through to external-facing output, with review depth, evaluation requirements and human approval scaling by tier. Some capabilities are permanently off limits: an agent may read and report, it may carry a human-authored update into a system of record once a human consents, and it may initiate contact within a strict budget, but it may never autonomously write a commitment (an owner, a due date, a status) into a shared work system. Your job is to make that structurally impossible rather than merely forbidden.
You will be the only engineer on this platform. You will close open architecture decisions yourself, own the infrastructure end to end, and instrument the system so it reports its own return.
What You'll Be Responsible For
In this role, you'll:
Ship the agent platform to production. An event-triggered queue, a headless model-agnostic runtime (choosing the runtime is an open decision you will close), durable state that survives a failed run, a human review gate, atomic rollback, and complete run logging in the warehouse.
Own the evaluation layer, and switch on the gate that depends on it. Golden suites with behavioral assertions rather than intuition, judge criteria with a written rubric, safety cases that must pass on every run, and a CI gate that blocks a regression from merging. This is the precondition for every agent that does anything beyond read internal data.
Build and register the agent portfolio. Reporting, drafting, linting, triage and question-answering agents across the executive, team-lead and individual-contributor layers, plus a meta layer that observes the platform and improves it.
Enforce governance in code. Risk tiers the pipeline actually enforces, least-privilege credentials per agent, tool-permission gates, a decision audit log, and autonomy classes where the dangerous class has no code path rather than a warning label. Nothing runs without a registered owner, tier, tool grant and human gate.
Design how the system contacts people. A hard interruption budget per person, message bundling instead of a stream of pings, and a structure that gives something useful before it asks for anything. Adoption depends on this more than on any other single design choice.
Own the platform tooling. The compiler and validator, inventory integrity, and the paths that distribute context and capabilities into the repositories and chat surfaces where work happens.
Compute the operating measures from production data. A pipeline from raw system activity through to a computed maturity grade per team, defensible enough that a team can dispute the result and be answered with the query rather than an opinion.
Instrument the platform's own return. A ledger that logs the work each agent absorbs and computes the monthly figure, so the value of the system is a measurement rather than a claim.
How You'll Think
Recursive Thinking
You build the generator, not the artifact. When you need thirty agents, you do not write thirty agents; you build the inventory, the compiler and the distribution path that makes the thirty-first cost an afternoon, then a meta layer whose job is to watch the platform, find its drift and file the fix.
The evaluation layer is the same move applied to trust. You are not checking whether one agent is correct today. You are building the machine that decides whether every future agent is allowed to ship, which means the suite has to be right in a way the agent does not, and the thing that grades has to be graded too.
Inversion Thinking
You start from the failure and work backward to the design. The rule is that an agent may never autonomously write a commitment into a shared work system. The weak implementation is an instruction in a prompt. The strong one is that the credential in the agent's tool grant physically cannot set an owner, a due date or a status, so no amount of clever input, prompt injection or model error produces the forbidden write. You reach for the second one first.
Same for evaluation. Before writing a suite you enumerate how the agent can be wrong: an update that invents progress that did not happen, one that quotes a private channel into a public digest, one that is accurate and reads as an accusation, one that credits the wrong person. Then the suite is that list, each case caught before the agent ships rather than after it embarrasses someone.
AI-Native Execution
You use agentic tools on real work, in files and repositories, with the same rigor you apply to anything else you ship. You have a setup of your own and can describe it mechanically: what triggers it, what it is allowed to touch, where the human approves, what it logs, and how you found out the one time it went wrong.
That experience is this job, generalized. You are building for async engineers across 40+ countries who will judge the platform by whether it saves them an hour or costs them one, so you are your own first user and your own harshest reviewer.
You Might Be a Good Fit If You
Must Have
Have shipped production LLM agent systems that other people depended on. Not demos, not internal showcases. Systems with operational history, real users and at least one incident you can talk through. Prompt engineering on its own does not clear this bar.
Design evaluations, not spot checks. You build golden sets, write behavioral assertions, define judge rubrics, set pass thresholds and gate CI on the result. You can explain why "we reviewed a bunch of outputs and they looked good" is not evaluation.
Have done deep API work against the systems work actually lives in, and have authored MCP servers. You know the specific failure modes of those APIs, not just that they exist.
Own infrastructure end to end in Python on GCP, with a cloud warehouse and infrastructure as code. You provision, deploy, monitor and roll back your own systems, and you close architecture decisions rather than routing them onward.
Have taste about how software contacts humans. You treat every notification as spending a limited amount of trust.
Strong Signal
Public work in this space. An open-source agent framework, an MCP server, an evaluation harness, or writing on agent reliability that other practitioners cite.
LLM observability and cost instrumentation. Tracing agent runs, attributing spend per run, and building the queries that turn raw logs into a report someone acts on.
You have built an internal platform that non-engineers adopted voluntarily, and can describe what you changed after watching them use it.
What Success Looks Like
The platform is boring. Agents run on a schedule and on events, state survives restarts, failed runs roll back cleanly, and every run can be reconstructed from its log.
Nothing ships unevaluated. Every registered agent has a real suite with safety cases, the gate blocks regressions, and when someone challenges an output the answer is a test case rather than an argument.
The dangerous action is impossible, not discouraged. An audit of any agent's credentials shows it cannot perform the writes it is not allowed to perform, and the audit log makes every consequential decision traceable.
Teams pull the platform instead of being pushed. Agents get adopted because the reports are useful and the contact is rare and well-timed, and each team ends up with at least one workflow that runs automatically.
The platform reports its own value. The work absorbed is measured and published, so the case for expanding it is made with data rather than enthusiasm.

About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
At Ramp, people are the single biggest lever on our trajectory, and the bar for who joins this team gets higher every quarter, not lower. We are hiring our first dedicated Recruiter for GTM Expansion, based in London: someone who can map a market, identify the operators who will outperform their peers and run a full-cycle process that wins them.
The UK is the immediate mandate. You will partner with local and US-based leaders to turn an ambitious growth plan into a real commercial team, from first conversation through offer close. You will also help us build the recruiting approach, market knowledge and candidate networks that support Ramp's expansion into new GTM markets over time.
The recruiters who do this best combine craft on the front end, research, identification and calibration, with execution on the back end, closing, candidate experience and pipeline discipline. We are looking for both.
What You'll Do
• Own full-cycle recruiting for priority GTM Expansion hiring, starting with UK roles across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Partnerships and Customer Success.
• Build a sharp point of view on the UK market and future expansion markets: the companies producing strong talent, the people who outperform their peers and the communities that matter.
• Use research, data and AI as part of your everyday craft to identify and qualify exceptional candidates. We expect a written market point of view, not just a slate of profiles.
• Run thoughtful, personalised outreach grounded in the candidate's actual background, commercial motion or recent work. We care more about quality, replies and conversion than send volume.
• Partner with GTM leaders to turn ambitious hiring plans into a clear profile, credible process and realistic compensation strategy. Surface hard market truth early and push back constructively when needed.
• Own the candidate experience from first conversation through offer close: fast follow-up, clear communication, strong process discipline and a tailored closing plan for the candidates we most want.
• Build real presence for Ramp in London through the right relationships, referrals and targeted community activity. The point is pipeline and credibility, not events for their own sake.
• Work tightly with the wider GTM Recruiting team on calibration, sourcing support, insight and operating rhythm, while bringing strong local judgment.
• Help improve how Ramp recruits for expansion by capturing what works in the UK and applying it thoughtfully as we enter new markets.
What You Need
• 5+ years of full-cycle GTM or Sales recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth technology company where quality and pace both mattered.
• Strong knowledge of the UK technology talent market and a credible local network, or clear evidence that you can build one quickly.
• A track record of finding and closing exceptional people, not simply running inherited processes. You can point to candidates you identified who became strong hires.
• Excellent sourcing and research instincts. You can explain why someone is genuinely differentiated, not only that they have the right title at the right company.
• Experience hiring across several GTM functions, such as AEs, Sales Leadership, Solutions Consulting, Partnerships, Customer Success or RevOps.
• Strong candidate-closing judgment. You listen closely, understand what each candidate is weighing and can build conviction against serious alternatives.
• The confidence to influence senior leaders, challenge a mis-scoped search and make a hiring process better without creating unnecessary friction.
• Comfort using data to understand funnel health, diagnose problems and hold an honest conversation about what needs to change.
• High ownership. You book the next step while you have the candidate, chase what is stuck and do not wait for a detailed brief to get useful work moving.
• Specific, sharp written communication. Your outreach and candidate updates should never feel template-driven.
Nice to Have
• Experience recruiting for a fintech, SaaS, infrastructure or similarly complex B2B product.
• Experience joining a company as the first recruiter in a new geography, or helping to scale an international business.
• Experience building an AI-augmented recruiting research workflow.
Why this Role
You will have unusual ownership over one of Ramp's most important growth priorities, with the support of an established Talent team rather than the isolation of a one-person recruiting function. The work is practical and high impact: build the UK commercial team, help leaders make better hiring decisions and raise the bar for how Ramp recruits as it enters new markets.

About the Team
The Astral team builds high-performance developer tools to power the future of programming, at OpenAI and beyond, including Ruff, uv, and ty. The Astral toolchain sees hundreds of millions of installs per month and powers hundreds of millions of package downloads per day for the Python ecosystem. As a team, we are building on those foundations to continue solving impactful tooling problems as programming evolves.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to build next-generation programming language tooling. If you like writing high-performance Rust, it could be a good fit; if you like thinking about the future of programming, it could also be a good fit. Strong candidates tend to have deep experience with Rust, Python, open source, compilers, or developer tools — but few candidates are deep in all of these areas, and we've hired candidates without prior Rust or Python experience.
In this role, you will:
Design and implement features in Astral’s existing open source projects (Ruff, uv, ty, and python-build-standalone, and more).
Support Astral’s open source projects as a maintainer, triaging user issues, reviewing pull requests, and participating in community discussions.
Evolve the Astral toolchain to accelerate development velocity at OpenAI.
Build entirely new tools, in entirely different programming ecosystems, to power the future of agentic software development.
Your background might look something like:
5+ years of professional engineering experience, excluding internships, in relevant engineering roles.
High agency and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment, with strong ownership of security, reliability, and operational excellence.
Strong developer empathy and communication skills, including experience maintaining open source projects.
Exceptional systems engineering fundamentals and a track record of leading complex projects from ambiguous problem statements through to user impact.
Proficiency in one or more system programming languages (like Rust).

About the Team
The SMB Sales team is focused on scaling efficient, high-quality sales execution across a range of commercial motions, including Inbound, Outbound, API Sales, Channel, and SDR. We partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor partners to build scalable operating models that support growth while maintaining a high bar for performance and customer experience.
About the Role
As a Senior Vendor Manager, SMB Sales, you will own performance across our outsourced SMB Sales vendor network.
This is not a traditional vendor management role. We’re looking for a performance-focused operator who can drive large-scale sales execution through vendor partners, rather than someone primarily focused on vendor relationship management.
You will own regional and site-level performance across Tier 1 partners, with responsibility for sales performance, quality, forecasting, governance, operational readiness, and vendor leadership accountability across multiple sales motions.
You’ll work at the intersection of Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor executives. You will help ensure the machine performs: surfacing issues early, creating accountability, and driving the operating rigor needed to deliver consistently strong outcomes at scale.
In this role, you will:
Own regional and site-level performance across revenue, pipeline, conversion, productivity, quality, and other key sales metrics.
Inspect sales funnel health and diagnose whether performance gaps are driven by quality, execution, routing, enablement, staffing, or process issues.
Surface underperformance early, diagnose the underlying drivers, and drive urgency around corrective action.
Build clear corrective action plans with vendor leadership, establish measurable outcomes, and ensure strong follow-through.
Lead Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews with vendor partners, ensuring governance forums drive decisions, not just reporting.
Build and maintain scorecards that make sales performance, quality, operational health, and risk visible.
Hold vendor leadership accountable for frontline management quality, coaching effectiveness, staffing discipline, and execution rigor.
Own regional adoption of global playbooks, QA frameworks, and operating standards, using quality trends, call reviews, calibration outputs, and conversion analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify recurring operational failure modes and partner cross-functionally to solve systemic issues while maintaining a high bar for customer experience.
Own forecast quality, pipeline discipline, and risk inspection across assigned regions, building a consistent inspection cadence across motions and partners and pressure-testing vendor forecasts against activity, pipeline, and expected outcomes.
Translate complex operational and performance signals into clear business narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
Monitor new-hire ramp, certification outcomes, productivity curves, and overall vendor readiness before launching new motions, regions, or major process changes.
Partner with Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Program Management to close readiness gaps and manage capacity against forecasted demand and business priorities.
Help redefine vendor operations for an AI-native sales environment, using automation, AI-enabled workflows, and scalable operating systems to improve seller productivity, forecasting accuracy, quality inspection, execution speed, decision-making, and performance visibility.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 8+ years of experience in vendor management, sales operations, scaled sales execution, vendor leadership, or commercial operations.
Have direct experience managing outsourced sales or revenue-generating vendor operations.
Have experience working in software, SaaS, cloud, or other high-velocity commercial environments.
Have strong experience working with Tier 1 vendor partners.
Have proven experience owning sales performance across multiple teams, sites, regions, or vendors.
Have a strong understanding of sales funnel metrics, forecasting, conversion, productivity, quality, and operational governance.
Have experience building and running WBRs, QBRs, performance scorecards, and corrective action plans.
Bring strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners and enjoy working closely with Product, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data, and Go-to-Market teams.
Make thoughtful tradeoffs between near-term delivery and long-term system quality.
Move quickly and independently in an environment where requirements evolve, priorities compete, and the right solution is not always obvious.
Nice to Have:
Experience with payments, subscriptions, billing, pricing, credits, entitlements, invoicing, revenue systems, or other monetization infrastructure.
Experience with high-scale financial or transactional systems, reconciliation workflows, compliance requirements, or audit controls.
Experience building shared platforms, APIs, frameworks, or developer tools used by multiple product teams.

Type: Full-time, salaried employment
Location: Remote, United Kingdom only.
Salary Range: £90,000 - £105,000 + stock options.
Who We Are
Focal Systems is the industry leader in retail AI solutions. We are headquartered in San Francisco, California with operations in Canada and the UK, and a tech-hub in Poland. We are a Deep Learning first company. Our mission is to automate and optimize brick and mortar retail using deep learning computer vision. Focal Systems has been deployed at scale with some of the top retailers in the world.
We seek smart, creative and passionate people who want to help build a great and enduring company and deploy Deep Learning to the world!
What You Will Be Responsible For
As Senior Product Manager, you will take ownership of how data is processed at Focal, and shape what that path becomes: from the imports that bring a retailer's planograms, inventory and store metadata into our platform, through the pipelines that turn them into signal, to the metrics and reports their head office acts on. You will work with data engineering, data scientists, analytics, customer success and the retailers themselves. What you build are data products, and the measure of one is what a retailer does differently because of it.
This is a hands-on role. You will set direction and priorities as we roll out to hundreds of new stores, but you are also expected to know the systems well enough to be a partner in an engineering design conversation, pull your own numbers when something looks wrong, and hold a strong position in the discussions with customers.
What We Are Looking For
- You are a peer to the engineers you work with, someone who understands the systems well enough to know what is expensive and why and when to push back
- You are drawn to the seams between teams, where ownership is shared and the hardest problems live
- You write your own queries and interrogate the answers before anyone else has to, and you can name the business number a data product of yours moved
- You can change your mind in a technical argument, and you can point to the time you did
- You have strong judgment about what not to build, and you have killed your own work when it stopped earning its place
- You use AI as part of how you actually work, and you have built things with it that other people went on to use, not demos you gave once
- You communicate complicated things crisply to people who do not share your context, including customers hearing an answer they did not want
- You build things that outlast you, whether runbooks, tooling or documented decisions, because you would rather remove yourself as a dependency than be indispensable
What You Will Do
- Own product direction for the full data path, from how a retailer's data arrives to what our reports say, and set the priorities where the two ends pull against each other
- Own how customer data gets into Focal: imports, planograms, store metadata, cut-off configuration, and the chain-specific flows each retailer needs
- Own what comes out and whether anyone acts on it: the metrics, the reporting APIs, the insight-generating agents, and the customer-facing dashboards a head office runs its week on
- Run discovery with retailers and store colleagues, and turn what you learn into a product
- Ship, then find out whether anyone used it, and act on the answer
- Automate your own work with AI and share what you build with the rest of the product team
What You Need to Be Successful
- 5+ years in product management, including real time on a technically deep product where you owned integrations, data, or both
- Enough technical depth to reason about APIs, data pipelines and system boundaries, and to be an equal partner in an engineering discussion
- Experience building for a hierarchy of users who need different things from the same data: a store manager, a regional director and a head of supply chain reading one dataset three ways, served by one configurable surface
- Hands-on comfort with SQL and the ability to answer your own data questions
- Fluency in the analytics and BI tooling landscape, and a view on what makes a dashboard worth returning to rather than merely correct
- Demonstrated ownership of a product roadmap end to end, from problem definition through to something shipped and adopted
- A track record of getting things done across teams, and the communication to influence engineering and commercial partners
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers, including holding a position they disagree with
- Comfortable operating remote-first, across a distributed team
- Willingness to travel occasionally for store and customer visits
What Would Set You Apart
- Experience in working with high-volume, noisy sensor or computer-vision data
- Experience with change data capture into a cloud warehouse (ideally Snowflake)
- Experience shipping AI-powered features, including the call on when a model is good enough to ship
Why Focal Systems
Joining Focal Systems means becoming part of a company that's truly making a difference in the retail world. Here's why you should consider us:

About IFS Copperleaf
IFS Copperleaf helps the world’s largest asset-intensive organizations — utilities, energy, water, transportation, and more — decide where to invest billions in capital to deliver the most value, using AI-powered decision analytics. Our customers defend and optimize the infrastructure that societies depend on.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you sit cross-functionally across the Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation teams. For our most critical pursuits, you stand up our current product on the customer’s own data, fast, to prove value inside the deal. And when a customer needs something our product does not yet do, you use modern AI tools to rapidly prototype a near-production ready solution and put it in front of them. You turn “we can’t do that” into “here’s how,” and the strongest prototypes go on to shape our roadmap.
You own the technical outcome from discovery through production adoption. Your job is to win deals by delivering fast and with value in the current production environment, prototyping and articulating value from customer requirements, measuring and proving value across customer workflows, and continuously coordinating field-observed customer needs, ideas, roadmaps, and visions with the product and sales organizations. You are the shaper that understands customers’ needs, hypothesizes on value, co-creates the solution, and can test, measure, and validate the outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Work alongside Solutions Consultants and Account Executives with our most innovative and strategic accounts as well as our most important net new opportunities.
- Own discovery, technical scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and handoff for strategic customer solutions. Deploy and prove value.
- Prototype aggressively; productionize deliberately.
- For sales and product management validation, build the smallest safe prototype that tests the hypothesis inside the deal’s timeline. For production use, engineer for security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and integration with the customer’s architecture.
- Build, deploy, and evaluate with customer data; measure adoption, workflow impact, reliability, and time-to-value; iterate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Product and R&D to turn validated customer patterns and production evidence into supported roadmap investments, reusable components, and platform improvements.
- Turn recurring needs into reusable accelerators so the whole team moves faster.
- Develop solution specifications with the customer to feed product and engineering organizational understanding, continuously updating the specification as the solution and outcomes evolve.
- Work with Product continuously as business value emerges and outcomes become known to evaluate business potential, broader market needs, competitive differentiation aspects, and functional/technical specifications.
How We Measure This Role
- Influenced ACV on deals where an FDE engaged.
- Time to first working prototype on the customer’s own data.
- Graduation rate: the share of prototypes that reach production.
- Patterns and accelerators shipped, and how often they get reused on later engagements.
- Recurring gaps taken to Product, and what Product decided.
What You Bring
Required
- Customer-facing and commercial ability. You can run a technical discovery session, hold a value conversation with both technical and business stakeholders, and connect what you build to the customer's outcome and the deal's value case. The ultimate value of this role is connecting technology to real business outcomes.
- Abstraction and reuse. You can generalize what you built for one customer into a reusable accelerator the team applies on the next engagement.
- AI and agentic engineering. LLM application development, RAG, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration, including the judgment for when to use single versus multi-agent patterns and how to handle memory and state. Modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code as daily practice, not novelty.
- Familiar with enterprise integrations in a regulated utility market. You’re familiar with key customer systems such as ESRI ArcGIS/Smallworld, IBM Maximo/EAM, SAP/Oracle ERP/PPM, and PowerBI/reporting systems. You have a technical and functional understanding of REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and integrating with enterprise systems of record.
- Domain in asset-intensive industries (utilities, energy, transportation) or capital and asset investment planning. We hire for engineering strength and teach the domain, so this is a strong plus, not a gate.
- Travel. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, up to ~50%.
Preferred
- Software or data engineering background. You have built and shipped real working software at some point in your career, not just scripts, and you write code another engineer can pick up and maintain. Fluent in Angular, Python or a similar language, and comfortable working in unfamiliar languages and codebases. An understanding of SQL, data modeling, and building pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and serving. Strong debugging instincts against imperfect customer data in live environments.
- Depth in production engineering: observability, performance, and operating at scale.
- Prior exposure to customer-facing technical work, solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or a startup where you wore several hats.
- Prior experience deploying AI in enterprise or regulated environments.
Who Thrives Here
- A deep listener, who obsesses on problem understanding and values outcomes.
- A creator who builds and prototypes fast, whether standing up existing capability or inventing what does not exist yet.
- AI-native and product-minded, with the judgment to know what is credible to demonstrate versus promise.
- Secure building alongside a deal team without needing to own the relationship.
- A communicator, who understands the cross-functional nature of the work and can hold their own at the lowest level investment planner to the boardroom executive.
- A story-teller who can take what they’ve created and craft the right messaging, understanding that what they've built changes behaviors, processes, and sometimes, mindsets.
What We’re Offering
- Salary Range: 117,000 to 168,000 GBP annually + bonus
- Flexible paid time off, including sick and holiday
- Medical, dental, & vision insurance
- Flexible spending accounts
- Life insurance and disability benefits

About Production Engineering
Production Engineering is Ramp's infrastructure ownership layer. We exist to make Ramp faster, more reliable, and more scalable — and we do that by being embedded in the problems, not adjacent to them.
A few things that define how we operate:
One team, one company, one objective. There is no "infra team" and "product team" — there is Ramp. We share the company's goals as our own. When a product team struggles with reliability or scalability, that is our struggle.
If reliability or scalability is at risk, we own it. We don't wait to be invited, and we don't ask whose code it is. If a system is slow, if it breaks, if it won't scale — that's ours to lead, regardless of where it lives in the stack.
We go first, and we go fast. When the path isn't obvious, we don't wait for someone else to find it. We move with urgency, propose the solution, align the stakeholders, and stay in until it's done — not until our ticket is closed.
We lead the way. We find the next problem before it finds us. And when we solve it, we don't just fix it for ourselves — the patterns and standards we establish become the foundation the rest of Ramp builds on. That's not a side effect of the job; it's the job.
We stay calibrated. Speed means nothing if we're moving in the wrong direction. We regularly stop and ask honestly whether what we're working on is still the highest-leverage thing we could be doing — the discipline that makes sure our effort compounds toward what actually matters.
You cannot build the future of finance on shaky infrastructure.
Our Teams
Production Engineering is organized into teams — but we think about teams differently. Teams are mutable. We build them around what needs to be done, not around what we need to do given the teams we already have. The structure below reflects our current priorities; it will evolve as Ramp does.
Right now, we operate across four areas:
Compute — the foundation everything runs on: container orchestration, networking, load balancing, edge infrastructure, and the deployment systems that get code from engineers' laptops to production reliably and at scale
Storage — databases, caching, object storage, and the data infrastructure that underpins everything
Workflows & Messaging — the systems that power Ramp's financial workflows and event-driven architecture
Internal Infrastructure — the platform that makes every builder at Ramp faster and more autonomous: observability, cost attribution, and CI/CD systems that give teams visibility into what they build and what it costs
What You'll Do
Production Engineers at Ramp are full software engineers who happen to specialize in infrastructure. You write production code, you own systems end-to-end, and you drive technical outcomes across the organization — not just within your team.
Day to day, you will:
Build and operate critical infrastructure across Ramp's compute, storage, messaging, and observability stack — owning the systems that handle real financial transactions at scale.
Drive architectural change — not just flag problems. When you surface a reliability or scalability issue, you own the path forward: you propose the solution, find the owners across engineering, and stay in until it's resolved.
Partner with product teams at the design phase — reviewing architectures, embedding golden paths, and making it easy to build correctly the first time.
Build Ramp's next level of scale — you'll be a hands-on contributor to the most consequential infrastructure shift happening right now: our move to a cellular architecture, enabling Ramp to scale, reach international markets, operate in highly regulated and constrained environments (e.g. FedRAMP), and deliver on enterprise-grade SLAs.
Enable AI-native engineering — as Ramp builds increasingly AI-powered products, PE is the team that makes sure the platform can support them. You'll proactively partner with product teams on AI infrastructure patterns, define the golden paths that turn one-off solutions into reusable foundations, and stay ahead of emerging challenges before they become blockers.
Build developer tooling and self-service infrastructure — so that other teams can answer their own questions (cost, performance, reliability) without involving PE.
Participate in on-call rotation — and more importantly, use every incident as a signal to eliminate the root cause, not just resolve the symptom.
Lead across the company — PE doesn't just review designs or show up when called. We proactively initiate cross-team architectural reviews, and we take full ownership of company-wide reliability and scalability initiatives: identifying the problem, proposing the solution, aligning the stakeholders, and staying in until it's done.
What We Look For
We don't hire for a checklist. We hire for the instincts that make someone exceptional on this team.
The mindset we're looking for:
You can't walk past something broken without wanting to fix it — and you don't stop at the workaround. You find the root cause and eliminate the class of problem.
You think in systems, not tasks. You understand that "fixing the bug" is step one; making it so the bug can't happen again is the job.
You move with urgency but without chaos. You know when to go fast and when to slow down and do it right.
You treat product teams as your users. You build for them, communicate with them proactively, and measure success by how much faster they can ship. But you're also an owner — when something is broken or blocking, you don't wait to be asked. We win when our customers win.
You leave things better than you found them. Every system you touch, every process you encounter — you move it forward. Not always dramatically, but always directionally. You picked it up in a certain state; you leave it in a better one.
You are equally comfortable reading a database query plan, reviewing a system design doc, writing a Terraform module, and jumping into an incident at 2am.
Experience profile:
3+ years of software engineering management shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems
Strong software engineering fundamentals — you write clean, well-tested, production-ready code
Hands-on experience with distributed systems at production scale
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
Familiarity with observability practices (SLOs, error budgets, alerting, dashboards)
Track record of leading technical projects end-to-end, including cross-team coordination
Comfortable using AI tooling and coding agents as part of your everyday engineering workflow — we expect our engineers to leverage these tools to move faster and think bigger
Bonus (not required):
Experience with cellular or multi-tenant architecture patterns
Prior work on workflow orchestration systems (Temporal)
Contributions to developer experience or internal platform tooling
Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries (FedRAMP, SOC 2)
Benefits available to all full-time Ramp employees (Global)
Flexible PTO
Centralized home-office equipment ordering
Health and wellness stipend
Budget for intra-office travel
Weekly coffee stipend
