We are now seeking a Tenancy Housing Advisor to join our frontline Neighbourhoods & Tenancy Services team and play a key role in delivering a responsive, customer-focused housing service.
If you have experience in lettings, estate agency, local council housing or customer service within the housing sector, this is your opportunity to bring your skills into a meaningful role where you'll play a key part in delivering a responsive, customer-focused housing service.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as the first point of contact for ASB and tenancy management queries
- Provide clear, accurate advice and guidance to customers
- Support early intervention approaches including mediation and prevention
- Manage and update case records accurately using CRM systems
- Support tenancy changes including joint-to-sole applications, household updates and bereavement cases
- Investigate issues such as abandonment, illegal subletting and tenancy breaches
- Carry out risk assessments and support case planning
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies including police, local authorities and safeguarding partners
- Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies
About you
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and customer-focused, with experience in housing, ASB or a similar frontline service environment.
- Experience in ASB, tenancy management or housing-related casework
- Some knowledge of housing law, tenancy processes and safeguarding principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
