You might thrive in this role if you:

Have experience building or scaling partner programs, ideally in consumer hardware, platforms, devices, developer ecosystems, or emerging technology categories.
Are highly relationship-oriented and can build trust with external partners while navigating complex internal priorities.
Can translate partner needs, customer insights, and product strategy into clear positioning, launch plans, and commercial programs.
Have led successful cross-functional launches or campaigns with multiple internal teams and external partners.
Bring strong business judgment across marketing, sales, distribution, and commercial partnership models.
Are an excellent communicator and storyteller, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
Are comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where the strategy, product, and ecosystem are being built in parallel.

Who we are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.
Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.
About the role
Fuel and energy is the single largest controllable cost line for almost every fleet on the planet, and most of that money is still spent on gut feel and spreadsheets. Samsara sees exactly how these fleets run, every mile, every gallon, every idle minute. That data is the foundation for a new class of products, and the upside is real: billions of dollars in savings for our customers, and a meaningful cut to their emissions along with it.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll own a product area end to end, from the customer problem to something the world's largest fleets rely on every day. The team's scope is broad — fuel cards and payments, driver and vehicle efficiency, the EV transition, operational cost intelligence — and you'll go deep on one of these. Much of this space has no existing playbook, especially where AI can now catch waste no spreadsheet ever could. It also means working differently: prototyping with AI, testing ideas in days instead of quarters.
You'll spend real time with customers, and just as much with go-to-market on pricing, packaging, and how we tell the savings story, because here selling the value is as much a product decision as building it.
We're hiring for the best product generalists we can find, not for fuel or fleet experience. Find the real customer problem, build conviction, ship a measurable outcome: the domain you learned that in doesn't matter to us.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the United States (East and Central Timezones) & Canada as well as in the United Kingdom.
You should apply if:
- You're a strong generalist product manager first: you've built your career on customer discovery, prioritization, and driving cross-functional teams to outcomes. The domain (consumer, fintech, marketplace, whatever) matters far less to us than the muscle.
- You form your own point of view: you don't wait to be told what's worth building. You build conviction from customer evidence and can defend it, even when it differs from where the org was leaning.
- You think and communicate in a straight line: you can take an ambiguous or messy problem and explain it - and your recommendation - clearly and concisely, leading with the answer rather than the journey to get there.
- You want real ownership: you'll own a product area's vision, strategy, and roadmap, including the business outcome, not just the shipped feature. If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara.
- You appreciate candid feedback and an experimental mindset: Samsara employees challenge the status quo and recognize failure as part of the learning process. We encourage each other to be honest and hold ourselves to high standards.
In this role, you will:
- Run deep discovery with the people who live these problems — fleet owners, fuel managers, operations leaders, and finance teams — and turn what you learn into a strategy that ships.
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a key product area, including the business case behind it, not just the backlog.
- Prototype and design MVPs yourself - clickable flows, working demos, rough cuts, often AI-assisted - to pressure-test ideas with customers before committing engineering time.
- Ship customer-facing experiences end to end with design, engineering, and data science, and know enough about the underlying data and systems to be a credible, equal partner.
- Define success metrics, build business cases for new initiatives, and drive a continuous cycle of experimentation and iteration grounded in data and customer feedback.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping customer-facing products used by real customers at scale (not primarily backend, platform, or internal-tooling work).
- You can point to something you designed, prototyped and built yourself, and a cross-functional launch you drove end to end, including the business outcome it produced (revenue, cost, adoption, retention, whatever the right measure was).
- You're comfortable contributing to commercial and go-to-market decisions (pricing, packaging, GTM strategy, or a business case) - not just what to build, but why it's worth building.
- You’re data-driven: you are able to dive into data to identify opportunities and then measure your impact. You prioritise the value you can add to customers, and can get other teams behind you by telling stories with data.
- You have your own product point of view, backed by customer evidence, and you'll defend it even under pushback.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience shipping 0-to-1 products of real scale and complexity, in any domain.
- Experience shipping products that depend on partnerships, integrations, or external data - ecosystems beyond your own engineering team.
- Experience shipping AI- or ML-powered features.
Total Rewards
At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.
Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you’re ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here.
Flexible Working
At Samsara, we embrace a flexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of our teams. Our offices are open for those who prefer to work in-person and we also support remote work where it aligns with our operational requirements. For certain positions, being close to one of our offices or within a specific geographic area is important to facilitate collaboration, access to resources, or alignment with our service regions. In these cases, the job description will clearly indicate any working location requirements. Our goal is to ensure that all members of our team can contribute effectively, whether they are working on-site, in a hybrid model, or fully remotely. All offers of employment are contingent upon an individual’s ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work at the company and in the specified work location, if applicable.
Belonging at Samsara
At Samsara, we welcome everyone regardless of their background. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, and other characteristics protected by law. We depend on the unique approaches of our team members to help us solve complex problems and want to ensure that Samsara is a place where people from all backgrounds can make an impact.
Accommodations
Samsara is an inclusive work environment, and we are committed to ensuring equal opportunity in employment for qualified persons with disabilities. Please email [email protected] or click here if you require any reasonable accommodations throughout the recruiting process.
Our Commitment to Authenticity
We use Tofu, a fraud detection tool, to validate the authenticity of applications and protect against identity fraud. This ensures we are connecting with real people and allows us to prioritize genuine candidates. Please see Samsara’s Candidate Privacy Notice for more information.
Fraudulent Employment Offers
Samsara is aware of scams involving fake job interviews and offers. Please know we do not charge fees to applicants at any stage of the hiring process. About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
At Ramp, people are the single biggest lever on our trajectory, and the bar for who joins this team gets higher every quarter, not lower. We are hiring our first dedicated Recruiter for GTM Expansion, based in London: someone who can map a market, identify the operators who will outperform their peers and run a full-cycle process that wins them.
The UK is the immediate mandate. You will partner with local and US-based leaders to turn an ambitious growth plan into a real commercial team, from first conversation through offer close. You will also help us build the recruiting approach, market knowledge and candidate networks that support Ramp's expansion into new GTM markets over time.
The recruiters who do this best combine craft on the front end, research, identification and calibration, with execution on the back end, closing, candidate experience and pipeline discipline. We are looking for both.
What You'll Do
• Own full-cycle recruiting for priority GTM Expansion hiring, starting with UK roles across Sales, Solutions Consulting, Partnerships and Customer Success.
• Build a sharp point of view on the UK market and future expansion markets: the companies producing strong talent, the people who outperform their peers and the communities that matter.
• Use research, data and AI as part of your everyday craft to identify and qualify exceptional candidates. We expect a written market point of view, not just a slate of profiles.
• Run thoughtful, personalised outreach grounded in the candidate's actual background, commercial motion or recent work. We care more about quality, replies and conversion than send volume.
• Partner with GTM leaders to turn ambitious hiring plans into a clear profile, credible process and realistic compensation strategy. Surface hard market truth early and push back constructively when needed.
• Own the candidate experience from first conversation through offer close: fast follow-up, clear communication, strong process discipline and a tailored closing plan for the candidates we most want.
• Build real presence for Ramp in London through the right relationships, referrals and targeted community activity. The point is pipeline and credibility, not events for their own sake.
• Work tightly with the wider GTM Recruiting team on calibration, sourcing support, insight and operating rhythm, while bringing strong local judgment.
• Help improve how Ramp recruits for expansion by capturing what works in the UK and applying it thoughtfully as we enter new markets.
What You Need
• 5+ years of full-cycle GTM or Sales recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth technology company where quality and pace both mattered.
• Strong knowledge of the UK technology talent market and a credible local network, or clear evidence that you can build one quickly.
• A track record of finding and closing exceptional people, not simply running inherited processes. You can point to candidates you identified who became strong hires.
• Excellent sourcing and research instincts. You can explain why someone is genuinely differentiated, not only that they have the right title at the right company.
• Experience hiring across several GTM functions, such as AEs, Sales Leadership, Solutions Consulting, Partnerships, Customer Success or RevOps.
• Strong candidate-closing judgment. You listen closely, understand what each candidate is weighing and can build conviction against serious alternatives.
• The confidence to influence senior leaders, challenge a mis-scoped search and make a hiring process better without creating unnecessary friction.
• Comfort using data to understand funnel health, diagnose problems and hold an honest conversation about what needs to change.
• High ownership. You book the next step while you have the candidate, chase what is stuck and do not wait for a detailed brief to get useful work moving.
• Specific, sharp written communication. Your outreach and candidate updates should never feel template-driven.
Nice to Have
• Experience recruiting for a fintech, SaaS, infrastructure or similarly complex B2B product.
• Experience joining a company as the first recruiter in a new geography, or helping to scale an international business.
• Experience building an AI-augmented recruiting research workflow.
Why this Role
You will have unusual ownership over one of Ramp's most important growth priorities, with the support of an established Talent team rather than the isolation of a one-person recruiting function. The work is practical and high impact: build the UK commercial team, help leaders make better hiring decisions and raise the bar for how Ramp recruits as it enters new markets.

About the Team
The SMB Sales team is focused on scaling efficient, high-quality sales execution across a range of commercial motions, including Inbound, Outbound, API Sales, Channel, and SDR. We partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor partners to build scalable operating models that support growth while maintaining a high bar for performance and customer experience.
About the Role
As a Senior Vendor Manager, SMB Sales, you will own performance across our outsourced SMB Sales vendor network.
This is not a traditional vendor management role. We’re looking for a performance-focused operator who can drive large-scale sales execution through vendor partners, rather than someone primarily focused on vendor relationship management.
You will own regional and site-level performance across Tier 1 partners, with responsibility for sales performance, quality, forecasting, governance, operational readiness, and vendor leadership accountability across multiple sales motions.
You’ll work at the intersection of Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor executives. You will help ensure the machine performs: surfacing issues early, creating accountability, and driving the operating rigor needed to deliver consistently strong outcomes at scale.
In this role, you will:
Own regional and site-level performance across revenue, pipeline, conversion, productivity, quality, and other key sales metrics.
Inspect sales funnel health and diagnose whether performance gaps are driven by quality, execution, routing, enablement, staffing, or process issues.
Surface underperformance early, diagnose the underlying drivers, and drive urgency around corrective action.
Build clear corrective action plans with vendor leadership, establish measurable outcomes, and ensure strong follow-through.
Lead Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews with vendor partners, ensuring governance forums drive decisions, not just reporting.
Build and maintain scorecards that make sales performance, quality, operational health, and risk visible.
Hold vendor leadership accountable for frontline management quality, coaching effectiveness, staffing discipline, and execution rigor.
Own regional adoption of global playbooks, QA frameworks, and operating standards, using quality trends, call reviews, calibration outputs, and conversion analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify recurring operational failure modes and partner cross-functionally to solve systemic issues while maintaining a high bar for customer experience.
Own forecast quality, pipeline discipline, and risk inspection across assigned regions, building a consistent inspection cadence across motions and partners and pressure-testing vendor forecasts against activity, pipeline, and expected outcomes.
Translate complex operational and performance signals into clear business narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
Monitor new-hire ramp, certification outcomes, productivity curves, and overall vendor readiness before launching new motions, regions, or major process changes.
Partner with Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Program Management to close readiness gaps and manage capacity against forecasted demand and business priorities.
Help redefine vendor operations for an AI-native sales environment, using automation, AI-enabled workflows, and scalable operating systems to improve seller productivity, forecasting accuracy, quality inspection, execution speed, decision-making, and performance visibility.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 8+ years of experience in vendor management, sales operations, scaled sales execution, vendor leadership, or commercial operations.
Have direct experience managing outsourced sales or revenue-generating vendor operations.
Have experience working in software, SaaS, cloud, or other high-velocity commercial environments.
Have strong experience working with Tier 1 vendor partners.
Have proven experience owning sales performance across multiple teams, sites, regions, or vendors.
Have a strong understanding of sales funnel metrics, forecasting, conversion, productivity, quality, and operational governance.
Have experience building and running WBRs, QBRs, performance scorecards, and corrective action plans.
Bring strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

About the team
OpenAI’s Applied AI organization turns our latest model capabilities into products used by hundreds of millions of consumers, developers, and organizations worldwide. Our teams build the product experiences and platform foundations behind ChatGPT, Codex, our API platform, and offerings for businesses, enterprises, educational institutions, and other customers.
Financial Engineering powers how customers purchase, access, and pay for these products. We build the systems behind pricing and packaging, checkout, payments, subscriptions, usage-based billing, credits, entitlements, invoicing, and the broader order-to-cash lifecycle. Our work spans consumer subscriptions, self-serve businesses, sophisticated enterprise agreements, developer usage, and emerging monetization models.
These systems sit at the intersection of product experience and financial infrastructure. They must make it easy for customers to adopt OpenAI products while maintaining strong guarantees around correctness, reliability, security, reconciliation, and auditability. We partner closely with Product, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Risk, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to launch new offerings and build a financial platform that can evolve with OpenAI’s rapidly growing product portfolio.
We are looking for an experienced engineer to help architect and build the next generation of these systems.
In this role, you will:
Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production backend, platform, or distributed systems.
Have strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, storage systems, transactional workflows, and event-driven architecture.
Have experience building systems where correctness, reliability, observability, security, or data integrity are especially important.
Are comfortable owning ambiguous, business-critical problems from initial definition through launch and long-term operation.
Bring a product-oriented mindset and care about creating simple, trustworthy experiences for both external customers and internal users.
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners and enjoy working closely with Product, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data, and Go-to-Market teams.
Make thoughtful tradeoffs between near-term delivery and long-term system quality.
Move quickly and independently in an environment where requirements evolve, priorities compete, and the right solution is not always obvious.
Nice to Have:
Experience with payments, subscriptions, billing, pricing, credits, entitlements, invoicing, revenue systems, or other monetization infrastructure.
Experience with high-scale financial or transactional systems, reconciliation workflows, compliance requirements, or audit controls.
Experience building shared platforms, APIs, frameworks, or developer tools used by multiple product teams.

Who we are
Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies. We aim to achieve technological leadership, so that open societies can continue to make sovereign decisions and control their ethical standards.
As democracies, we believe we have a special responsibility to be thoughtful about the development and deployment of powerful technologies like AI. We take this responsibility seriously.
We are an ambitious and committed team of engineers, AI specialists and customer-facing programme managers. We are looking for mission-driven people to join our European teams – and apply their skills to solve the most complex and impactful problems. We embrace an open and transparent culture that welcomes healthy debates on the use of technology in defence, its benefits, and its ethical implications.
The role
This role sits at the intersection of People operations, systems, automation, service delivery and employee experience. You will take an existing global People Operations setup and make it simpler, more reliable and more scalable as the company grows.
This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain established HR processes. We are looking for someone who can understand where the current model is creating friction, determine what genuinely needs to change, and then build the systems, processes and team capability required to solve it.
You will work closely with our People Operations, HRIS & Systems, Payroll, Workplace, Business Partnering and Finance teams.
The day-to-day
-
Design an end-to-end People Operations process landscape across the full employee lifecycle
-
Identify and resolve areas where ownership, processes or controls are unclear or unnecessarily complex
-
Build a scalable global operating model while enabling local flexibility where genuinely required
-
Establish clear service ownership, service levels and escalation paths across the function
-
Partner with the HRIS & Systems team to identify automation opportunities that improve speed, accuracy and employee experience
-
Build self-service solutions that improve experience without removing important human judgement
-
Use data and operational insight to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
-
Guide thoughtful adoption of AI tools across People Operations
-
Own and improve employee lifecycle administration, onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data processes, service delivery ticketing, payroll inputs, mobility and relocation processes, and documentation
-
Give the People Operations team clear ownership and accountability over their areas
-
Develop People Operations Partners who can operate independently and confidently
-
Create visibility on team priorities, commitments, risks and performance
-
Shift the team from reactive support towards proactive operational ownership
You should apply if you
-
Have built or significantly improved People Operations within a fast-growing or complex organisation
-
Have redesigned processes rather than simply inherited and maintained them
-
Demonstrate strong judgement about when to standardise and when local variation is genuinely necessary
-
Have operated across multiple countries, with exposure to Germany, the UK and France particularly valuable
-
Have developed and grown operational teams, building their ability to work independently
-
Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders while staying close enough to operations to understand what is actually happening
Note: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are systematically under-represented. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all the listed qualifications; ability and impact cannot be summarised in a few bullet points.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with HRIS, workflow automation and service delivery tooling
-
Experience defining service levels, controls and operational metrics
-
Experience working with external payroll or other service providers
-
Exposure to People Operations at scale within a comparable environment
Join Helsing and work with world-leading experts in their fields
-
Helsing’s work is important. You’ll be directly contributing to the protection of democratic countries while balancing both ethical and geopolitical concerns
-
The work is unique. We operate in a domain that has highly unusual technical requirements and constraints, and where robustness, safety, and ethical considerations are vital. You will face unique Engineering and AI challenges that make a meaningful impact in the world
-
Our work frequently takes us right up to the state of the art in technical innovation, be it reinforcement learning, distributed systems, generative AI, or deployment infrastructure. The defence industry is entering the most exciting phase of the technological development curve. Advances in our field of world are not incremental: Helsing is part of, and often leading, historic leaps forward
-
In our domain, success is a matter of order-of-magnitude improvements and novel capabilities. This means we take bets, aim high, and focus on big opportunities. Despite being a relatively young company, Helsing has already been selected for multiple significant government contracts
-
We actively encourage healthy, proactive, and diverse debate internally about what we do and how we choose to do it. Teams and individual engineers are trusted (and encouraged) to practise responsible autonomy and critical thinking, and to focus on outcomes, not conformity. At Helsing you will have a say in how we (and you!) work, the opportunity to engage on what does and doesn’t work, and to take ownership of aspects of our culture that you care deeply about
What we offer
-
Competitive salary and VSOP options
-
Relocation support: up to €2,500 and 4 weeks temporary accommodation
-
Learning: €500/£450 yearly allowance
-
Health & wellness: gym membership and mental health support (Nilo.health)
-
Social: regularly company events and monthly social allowances
-
Enhanced parental leave: 22 weeks fully paid for primary caregivers & 6 weeks for secondary caregivers.
-

About Production Engineering
Production Engineering is Ramp's infrastructure ownership layer. We exist to make Ramp faster, more reliable, and more scalable — and we do that by being embedded in the problems, not adjacent to them.
A few things that define how we operate:
One team, one company, one objective. There is no "infra team" and "product team" — there is Ramp. We share the company's goals as our own. When a product team struggles with reliability or scalability, that is our struggle.
If reliability or scalability is at risk, we own it. We don't wait to be invited, and we don't ask whose code it is. If a system is slow, if it breaks, if it won't scale — that's ours to lead, regardless of where it lives in the stack.
We go first, and we go fast. When the path isn't obvious, we don't wait for someone else to find it. We move with urgency, propose the solution, align the stakeholders, and stay in until it's done — not until our ticket is closed.
We lead the way. We find the next problem before it finds us. And when we solve it, we don't just fix it for ourselves — the patterns and standards we establish become the foundation the rest of Ramp builds on. That's not a side effect of the job; it's the job.
We stay calibrated. Speed means nothing if we're moving in the wrong direction. We regularly stop and ask honestly whether what we're working on is still the highest-leverage thing we could be doing — the discipline that makes sure our effort compounds toward what actually matters.
You cannot build the future of finance on shaky infrastructure.
Our Teams
Production Engineering is organized into teams — but we think about teams differently. Teams are mutable. We build them around what needs to be done, not around what we need to do given the teams we already have. The structure below reflects our current priorities; it will evolve as Ramp does.
Right now, we operate across four areas:
Compute — the foundation everything runs on: container orchestration, networking, load balancing, edge infrastructure, and the deployment systems that get code from engineers' laptops to production reliably and at scale
Storage — databases, caching, object storage, and the data infrastructure that underpins everything
Workflows & Messaging — the systems that power Ramp's financial workflows and event-driven architecture
Internal Infrastructure — the platform that makes every builder at Ramp faster and more autonomous: observability, cost attribution, and CI/CD systems that give teams visibility into what they build and what it costs
What You'll Do
Production Engineers at Ramp are full software engineers who happen to specialize in infrastructure. You write production code, you own systems end-to-end, and you drive technical outcomes across the organization — not just within your team.
Day to day, you will:
Build and operate critical infrastructure across Ramp's compute, storage, messaging, and observability stack — owning the systems that handle real financial transactions at scale.
Drive architectural change — not just flag problems. When you surface a reliability or scalability issue, you own the path forward: you propose the solution, find the owners across engineering, and stay in until it's resolved.
Partner with product teams at the design phase — reviewing architectures, embedding golden paths, and making it easy to build correctly the first time.
Build Ramp's next level of scale — you'll be a hands-on contributor to the most consequential infrastructure shift happening right now: our move to a cellular architecture, enabling Ramp to scale, reach international markets, operate in highly regulated and constrained environments (e.g. FedRAMP), and deliver on enterprise-grade SLAs.
Enable AI-native engineering — as Ramp builds increasingly AI-powered products, PE is the team that makes sure the platform can support them. You'll proactively partner with product teams on AI infrastructure patterns, define the golden paths that turn one-off solutions into reusable foundations, and stay ahead of emerging challenges before they become blockers.
Build developer tooling and self-service infrastructure — so that other teams can answer their own questions (cost, performance, reliability) without involving PE.
Participate in on-call rotation — and more importantly, use every incident as a signal to eliminate the root cause, not just resolve the symptom.
Lead across the company — PE doesn't just review designs or show up when called. We proactively initiate cross-team architectural reviews, and we take full ownership of company-wide reliability and scalability initiatives: identifying the problem, proposing the solution, aligning the stakeholders, and staying in until it's done.
What We Look For
We don't hire for a checklist. We hire for the instincts that make someone exceptional on this team.
The mindset we're looking for:
You can't walk past something broken without wanting to fix it — and you don't stop at the workaround. You find the root cause and eliminate the class of problem.
You think in systems, not tasks. You understand that "fixing the bug" is step one; making it so the bug can't happen again is the job.
You move with urgency but without chaos. You know when to go fast and when to slow down and do it right.
You treat product teams as your users. You build for them, communicate with them proactively, and measure success by how much faster they can ship. But you're also an owner — when something is broken or blocking, you don't wait to be asked. We win when our customers win.
You leave things better than you found them. Every system you touch, every process you encounter — you move it forward. Not always dramatically, but always directionally. You picked it up in a certain state; you leave it in a better one.
You are equally comfortable reading a database query plan, reviewing a system design doc, writing a Terraform module, and jumping into an incident at 2am.
Experience profile:
3+ years of software engineering management shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems
Strong software engineering fundamentals — you write clean, well-tested, production-ready code
Hands-on experience with distributed systems at production scale
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
Familiarity with observability practices (SLOs, error budgets, alerting, dashboards)
Track record of leading technical projects end-to-end, including cross-team coordination
Comfortable using AI tooling and coding agents as part of your everyday engineering workflow — we expect our engineers to leverage these tools to move faster and think bigger
Bonus (not required):
Experience with cellular or multi-tenant architecture patterns
Prior work on workflow orchestration systems (Temporal)
Contributions to developer experience or internal platform tooling
Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries (FedRAMP, SOC 2)
Benefits available to all full-time Ramp employees (Global)

An overview of this role
As a Senior Backend Engineer in GitLab’s Platform Enablement organization, you will help make GitLab easier to deploy, validate, and operate across environments. This team is centered on two major areas: Cloud Native deployment guidance and ephemeral environments.
You’ll help shape GitLab’s next generation of self-managed deployment guidance as Reference Architectures evolve toward a model based on deployment patterns, workload characterization, component requirements, topology guidance, and scaling principles.
You’ll also help improve production-like ephemeral environments so teams can validate changes earlier, test against infrastructure and deployment conditions that more closely reflect real-world operation, and reduce drift between development, CI, and production. This includes shaping the tooling, workflows, and platform contracts that make these environments more consistent, more repeatable, and more useful to engineers building and shipping across GitLab’s different deployment models.
Current projects
Deployment Environments is currently focused on:
- Evolving GitLab’s self-managed deployment guidance beyond legacy Reference Architectures into a clear Cloud Native model.
- Improving production-like ephemeral environments for earlier, higher-confidence validation.
- Supporting a platform model where services declare requirements, operators satisfy them, and shared artifacts work across GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll:
- Build tooling and workflows for cloud-native and self-managed deployment environments.
- Contribute to Cloud Native deployment guidance, including component requirements, architecture patterns, topology guidance, and scaling principles.
- Improve ephemeral environments that bring validation closer to production reality.
- Work across application, infrastructure, and platform boundaries to keep deployment artifacts and environment contracts consistent from development through production.
- Partner with related teams on packaging, testing, delivery workflows, and customer-facing deployment guidance.
What you’ll bring
- Strong backend engineering experience, ideally with Kubernetes-based systems, distributed applications, or platform engineering
- Experience with deployment architecture, environment management, or cloud-native operations
- Comfort working at the boundary of developer workflows and production infrastructure
- Good systems thinking around service dependencies, deployment patterns, and infrastructure abstraction.
- A collaborative, pragmatic approach to building durable platform capabilities
About the team
The Deployment Environments team helps make GitLab easier to deploy and easier to validate across development, CI, GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed. Its work spans Cloud Native deployment guidance, ephemeral environments, and the platform contracts that reduce drift across the software lifecycle.
How GitLab Supports Full-Time Employees
- Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being
- Flexible Paid Time Off
- Team Member Resource Groups
- Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan
- Growth and Development Fund
- Parental Leave
Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. If you're excited about this role, please apply and allow our recruiters to assess your application.
Country Hiring Guidelines: GitLab hires new team members in countries around the world. All of our roles are remote, however some roles may carry specific location-based eligibility requirements. Our Talent Acquisition team can help answer any questions about location after starting the recruiting process.

We are AI Native
We are building an AI native company where AI is an integral part of how we build and operate. AI tool usage during interviews varies by role. You may be asked to demonstrate proficiency with AI tools, discuss how you leverage AI, or complete interview exercises without AI assistance. Your Recruiter will provide clear guidance as you move through the interview process.
Undisclosed use of AI not previously discussed with or approved by your Recruiter may impact your candidacy.
About the Team
No other team at Life360 touches every product decision, every experiment, and every revenue lever. Data & Analytics is a 60+ person organization spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, data science, and ML. We're building it to be AI-native, where automation handles the volume so our people can focus on understanding why users behave the way they do, establishing what actually causes what, and turning those findings into action.
About the Job
We're hiring a Staff Decision Scientist to be strategic partners embedded with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams. People who shape what gets built, how we grow, and where we invest. You'll own the analytical narrative for your area and deliver insights that directly change roadmaps and resource allocation. The output is decisions, not dashboards. You'll also help make the AI-native organization a reality, shaping the tools and workflows that let automation take on more so the team can go deeper. This is not a production ML role (we have a dedicated Data Science / MLE team for that). Your primary tools are statistical inference, clear thinking, and the judgment to know which question matters most.
You'll report into the Data & Analytics leadership team and work alongside data engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers.
The UK-based salary range for this position is £99,500 - 117,500 with an additional equity grant. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
What You'll Do
- Own the analytical narrative for your Operating Group (OG). Be the strategic thought partner across cross-functional teams (PMs, engineers, marketing, finance). You understand the roadmaps and users, and you set the agenda for the highest-leverage questions the OG should be asking.
- Tell stories that move teams to act. You'll present to leadership and working teams with clear narratives and a point of view. A great insight that nobody acts on is a failed insight.
- Establish causality with the right tools for the situation, including A/B testing, analytics, and causal inference. You work with engineering to implement event instrumentation and with Product to translate insights into action.
- Define metrics strategies that measure what matters. Work backward from how users experience the product to develop and implement the measurement frameworks for your OG, in a complex ecosystem with multi-user engagement and many ways to interact with the product.
- Build explanations on top of measurement, always grounding analysis in the reality that users are people with motivations and context the data alone won't tell you.
- Shape the AI-native analytics stack. Lead evaluation and adoption of new tools, agent workflows, and practices that enable self-serve across the OG and move the team from reactive to proactive to autonomous.
- Mentor senior ICs on causal thinking, experimental rigor, and AI-leveraged workflows. Raise the ceiling of the craft.
What We're Looking For
Core Expectations
- Problem-solving mindset: You structure ambiguous problems precisely before reaching for a tool, AI or otherwise.
- Ownership mentality: You take responsibility from framing the question through delivering the recommendation and tracking its impact. You're accountable for decisions changed, not analyses delivered.
- AI-native working style: You use AI tooling (Claude Code or equivalent) as a genuine development partner: delegating discrete tasks, reviewing outputs critically, and running parallel workstreams.
- Curiosity and initiative: You don't wait for the roadmap to tell you what to analyze. You dig into data because you're genuinely curious about how things work.

About Griffin
Hi, we’re Griffin. We’re a fully regulated UK bank that powers the accounts and payments offerings of product-led fintechs and platforms like Uber, Yonder, Prosper, and Sidekick. By doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes, our customers can focus on what they do best - delivering amazing customer experiences.
We’ve grown rapidly since our launch in 2024, and today provide the banking backbone behind products in remittance, payroll, wealth, insurance, proptech, payments, neobanking and more.
We’re moving into card issuing, stablecoin infrastructure, and agentic finance next as we continue to support the next generation of product-led companies.
Learn more about what we do
Our culture
We believe that smart, motivated, conscientious people thrive in high-trust, high-autonomy environments and have done our best to create such an environment at Griffin. People who thrive here don’t require much hand-holding, and go out of their way to figure out how to contribute in the most valuable way possible.
We've been remote-first since we were established in 2017 and we remain so today. Work here is asynchronous and fully flexible - because we want to be a part of your life in a way that helps you to get the most out of both your work and home life.
We understand that our culture and ways of working aren’t for everyone, and we’re very intentional about our hiring process as a result. We won't hire people who don’t seem like a strong fit for our core values, even if they're otherwise extremely qualified.
Our strong culture has helped us to remain a mission-driven company as we have scaled, and gives our people a clear, explicit operating framework and the space to focus on delivering real value for our customers.
Learn more about our culture.
The team
The Craft function has seven small, cross-functional engineering teams - each with engineers, an engineering manager, and a product manager, working closely with designers. You'll join one team that owns a product area end-to-end.
When we start work, we explore multiple solutions before picking one. You'll write RFCs, build proof-of-concepts, and run experiments to validate approaches. Once we commit to building something, we care about maintainability more than cleverness, observability more than hoping it works, and scalability more than premature optimisation. We ship quality code over hitting arbitrary deadlines. Once something goes live, we refactor the rough edges rather than polish what's already working
The opportunity
Right now, we're building card issuing from scratch, going direct on Faster Payments, enabling cross-border payments, and building term deposit accounts. Day to day, this means: writing the reconciliation systems that process millions of FPS transactions, implementing double-entry accounting that tracks card spending and settlements, designing webhook infrastructure with message signing and replay protection, building API versioning that lets us evolve without breaking customers, or creating payment approval workflows that satisfy both user experience and compliance requirements.
What success looks like
Success here is about impact beyond your own code: improving how we work, making other engineers more productive, and building systems that our customers (other developers) actually want to use. This looks like:
redesigning the transaction reconciliation service to handle 10x throughput before we hit FPS volume limits
fixing the root cause of webhook delivery failures so we stop getting paged at 3am
building a Bazel rule that cuts build times in half for the whole team
writing an RFC that becomes the pattern we use for all event-driven services
pairing with another engineer to help them reason through FoundationDB transaction semantics
owning card issuing from initial RFC through to processing the first live transaction - making every architecture and implementation decision along the way.
What you'll own
The technical decisions on your projects - you'll write the RFCs, choose the architecture, and decide when to extend existing systems versus rebuild them
Delivery from customer problem to live feature - you'll work with PMs to shape what gets built, then own getting it into production
Setting technical direction - your code reviews, implementation patterns, and architectural choices influence how the wider team builds software
Production responsibility - the systems you build are yours to monitor, debug, and improve when issues arise
Your background
You'll fit well here if you come from one of these backgrounds:
Functional programming - you've shipped production Clojure, Elixir, Erlang, Haskell, Scala, or Scheme in a professional setting, or you've built substantial personal projects that demonstrate deep functional programming experience
Fintech domain expertise - you've worked in payments, accounts, ledgers, or compliance where you've dealt with money movement, reconciliation, and regulatory requirements
Beyond that, you'll need:
Strong software fundamentals and distributed systems knowledge - you understand consistency models, idempotency, and the failure modes that actually matter in production
Experience working in product-focused, collaborative teams - you've shaped what gets built alongside PMs and designers, not just implemented specs
Comfort with startup pace and ambiguity - priorities shift, requirements evolve, and you adapt without needing perfect clarity upfront
What can we offer you?
We are an early stage startup and we're working hard to expand our benefits package. We're planning to add to this list in the future.
Remote-first flexibility: Work from anywhere in the UK
Time off: 25 days’ holiday, bank holidays and a winter break (we shut down between Christmas and New Year)
Share options: Own a part of what we’re building together
Work from abroad: Up to 20 days a year
Pension: Auto-enrolment into our Penfold scheme
Insurance: Private medical with Bupa (including family cover) and life insurance with AIG
Wellbeing: 1:1 coaching and therapy session available through Oliva
Family leave: Enhanced parental leave with up to 6 months on full pay after two years’ service
AI tools: Everyone has a Claude subscription on us and access to other premium tools
Your setup: We’ll support you in creating a comfortable and effective WFH environment.
As a bank, we’re committed to maintaining the highest standards of security. This means that the successful candidate will need to complete background screening, and our offer will be conditional upon satisfactory review of these checks. This would include verification of right to work, criminal record, credit history, social media and professional reference checks.
How long will the process take?
We move as fast as possible, but it normally takes us about 2-3 weeks to get to know to each other.
Step 1: An initial phone call with our Talent Team for us to tell you more about Griffin and learn about your recent experience.
Step 2: A task based on what you’ll be doing on a day to day at Griffin.
Step 3: Meet your manager to talk through your experience and how that relates to the requirements.
Step 4: Meet with peers in your team for a more in-depth technical interview.
Step 5: Culture and Founder interview: Learn more about this here.
How do I apply?
Are we your next move? Apply via the link below, if there's a match our Talent team will reach out to schedule an initial conversation and talk you through what happens next.
We’re remote-first
We trust people to do great work wherever they are. We hire across the UK and most of our team works remotely full-time. We have a small London office in Moorgate for those who want it, and about a third of the company is close enough to use it occasionally, but there's no expectation to be there. What matters is the work, not where you do it.
Under representation
At Griffin, we’re looking for people who instinctively vibe with our values, behaviours and mission. You’re encouraged to apply, even if your experience doesn’t tick every box. Careers, like life, can take many twists and turns. Your technical expertise and path to where you are today will stand out. We're committed to creating a place where everyone belongs and we welcome diverse perspectives, backgrounds and people who are ready to build a global platform for programmable finance
Griffin Bank Ltd request that recruitment agencies do not speculatively submit CVs to any employee or associate of our company unless explicitly asked to do so by a member of our Talent team.
Any CVs sent to any member of our team on a speculative basis will not be recognised and we will not accept liability for any fee or commission should we subsequently employ a candidate who applied to us directly or was introduced by an instructed agency that may also have been submitted speculatively by an uninstructed agency.

About Matter Labs
Matter Labs builds cryptographic infrastructure for global finance. The team created ZKsync and shipped the first production zero-knowledge rollup. Today we build Prividium, an Ethereum-secured blockchain platform for banks and financial institutions that need privacy, compliance, and full control of their data. Prividium runs in production: Deutsche Bank's Project DAMA 2 is built on Prividium, which also underpins Cari Network, a tokenised-deposit network developed with five US regional banks. The platform is early. The reference deployments are real, the repeatable sales motion is still being built. This role shapes that motion.
The role
You will build Prividium's business across the UK and European financial-markets ecosystem, based in London. The relationships you develop and the strategic agreements you close will determine how fast this region becomes a core market for us. The role owns territory strategy, pipeline creation, deal execution, and closed agreements with banks, asset managers, exchanges, financial market infrastructures, payment firms, and regulated fintechs. It is a hands-on individual contributor role with full-cycle ownership.
What you'll do
Own territory revenue. Deliver agreed pipeline, bookings, and revenue outcomes across the UK and European financial-markets territory.
Build the market plan. Develop a clear view of where Prividium wins in the region: priority institutions, use cases, buying groups, and ecosystem partners.
Create pipeline. Originate opportunities through executive relationships, direct prospecting, industry events, and partners. Build momentum beyond inbound demand.
Run deep discovery. Understand customer workflows, constraints, and economics across tokenised deposits, payments, settlement, collateral, funds, and asset issuance.
Navigate institutional buying. Coordinate long processes spanning business leadership, product, technology, architecture, security, risk, compliance, procurement, and legal.
Lead evaluations. Work with Solutions Engineering and Product to shape workshops, technical evaluations, and proof-of-concept plans that advance a buying decision.
Close strategic agreements. Build mutual action plans, keep deal discipline, and lead commercial and contractual negotiation through to signature.
What we look for
Each of these is a demonstrated capability, shown through work you have done:
8+ years of enterprise B2B sales or strategic-account work, with closed six- or seven-figure agreements.
Selling software, data, SaaS, or infrastructure into banks, capital-markets firms, exchanges, FMIs, payment providers, or comparable regulated institutions.
Credible relationships and market knowledge across London's institutional finance ecosystem, reaching both business and technology decision-makers.
Originating pipeline through insight-led outreach and executive relationships, with named examples of accounts you opened.
Leading multi-stakeholder buying processes across security, risk, compliance, procurement, legal, and executive approval.
Discussing enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, deployment models, and data privacy credibly with senior technology stakeholders.
If you meet most of these and believe you can do this job, apply anyway.
Nice to have
Working knowledge of blockchain, tokenisation, or institutional digital assets, and experience selling a category-defining product while the sales motion was still being refined. Proven institutional-sales performance matters more.
Work model & pay
Competitive base salary
Performance-based variable compensation and a long-term token incentive are additional. Both are paid in ZK tokens. New-hire token grants vest over four years with a one-year cliff.
Freedom & ownership culture: no time tracking, minimum bureaucracy-only results matter.

You might thrive in this role if you have:
10+ years of progressive experience across Strategic Finance, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or related operating roles.
2+ years of Strategic Finance experience at a high-growth technology company, including meaningful partnership with international, Marketing, Growth, or GTM teams.
Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience managing complex budgets and translating market economics, investment tradeoffs, and performance data into decisions.
A track record of serving as a trusted thought partner to executives and cross-functional leaders.
Fluency across Consumer and B2B business models, international market dynamics, and Growth, Brand, or go-to-market investment.
Experience designing planning processes, operating cadences, scorecards, or investment frameworks that create clear ownership and produce measurable business outcomes.
High agency, sound judgment, and comfort building structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Enthusiasm for AI and experience partnering with Data Science; SQL familiarity is a plus.
