This role offers the opportunity to own an end-to-end digital growth engine for a commercial and residential plumbing business.
You will be responsible for turning search, paid media, social channels, landing pages, and automation into qualified opportunities.
The focus is firmly on measurable commercial outcomes, including enquiries, appointments, quotes, pipeline, and revenue.
You will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution across SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, conversion optimization, and CRM automation.
You will also build sophisticated lead-nurture journeys and improve how prospects move from initial enquiry to booked work.
Success will depend on your ability to analyze performance data, identify funnel weaknesses, and continuously improve acquisition efficiency.

Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive inbound marketing strategy for commercial and residential plumbing services, aligning campaigns with revenue and business-growth objectives.
- Lead SEO and local search initiatives, including keyword and competitor research, technical and on-page optimization, local citations, backlink development, Google Maps visibility, Google Business Profile optimization, and service/location page strategy.
- Build and optimize high-converting landing pages and campaign funnels for services such as emergency plumbing, blocked drains, leak detection, hot-water systems, gas fitting, commercial plumbing, construction and fit-out work, and preventative maintenance.
- Develop persuasive, conversion-focused copy or coordinate content creation for landing pages, service pages, blogs, case studies, FAQs, advertisements, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Manage Google Ads, Meta Ads, and retargeting programs, optimizing campaign structures, budgets, bidding, audiences, keywords, negative keywords, and creative based on lead quality and actual sales outcomes.
- Manage social media activity across relevant platforms, creating content around completed projects, customer reviews, plumbing advice, promotions, team updates, and audience-specific messaging.
- Build and maintain GoHighLevel pipelines, forms, calendars, workflows, dashboards, lead-routing systems, and automated email and SMS journeys.
- Implement missed-call text-back, appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, review requests, and other automation workflows to improve lead response and conversion.
- Segment and nurture residential, commercial, strata, construction, property-management, and other customer groups while maintaining accurate CRM data and reporting.
- Develop lead magnets, service offers, seasonal campaigns, and targeted initiatives designed to generate qualified inbound opportunities from homeowners, builders, developers, property managers, facility managers, and businesses.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to track leads through enquiries, qualification, appointments, quotes, bookings, and revenue, identifying and resolving points where opportunities are lost.
- Establish and monitor performance against qualified lead volume, appointment rates, cost per qualified lead, conversion rates, search visibility, advertising ROI, pipeline value, and revenue attributed to marketing.
- Continuously test and improve campaigns, landing pages, messaging, automation, and channel performance using analytics, attribution, and customer-quality data.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and inbound lead generation, with a proven record of delivering measurable commercial results.
- Demonstrated experience generating leads for plumbing, trades, construction, property services, or another local-service business.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SEO and local SEO, including Google Search, Google Maps, Google Business Profile optimization, technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign structuring, targeting, bidding, budgeting, retargeting, and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to build and optimize conversion-focused landing pages, lead funnels, forms, booking flows, and calls-to-action.
- Strong working knowledge of GoHighLevel, including CRM pipelines, workflows, calendars, dashboards, lead routing, email automation, and SMS automation.
- Experience with conversion tracking, call tracking, attribution, CRM reporting, and lead-quality analysis.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent copywriting or content-direction skills, with the ability to develop compelling messaging for both residential and commercial audiences.
- Strong understanding of the full inbound funnel, from acquisition and lead qualification through appointment setting, quoting, conversion, and revenue.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with sales and operations teams.
- Commercial mindset with a strong focus on qualified opportunities, customer acquisition efficiency, pipeline growth, and revenue rather than vanity metrics.
- Proactive, accountable, data-driven, and comfortable independently managing multiple marketing channels and continuously improving performance.
- Experience with Australian plumbing or local-service markets, commercial and residential plumbing, strata, construction, recurring maintenance contracts, WordPress, Webflow, ClickFunnels, Looker Studio, call-recording tools, graphic design, or video editing would be an advantage.
- Full-time opportunity with a remote working arrangement.
