About the role
Cursor’s agents work inside the codebases of some of the most security-conscious engineering organizations in the world — holding credentials, reading untrusted content, running tools, and shipping changes. Today they act on authority delegated per task. Where we’re headed, they’ll work more like coworkers: autonomous over long horizons, holding standing responsibilities, initiating work, and collaborating with people and other agents. The security models that future needs — identity and accountability for autonomous workers, standing authority rather than per-task permission, agent-to-agent trust, oversight that scales with always-on autonomy — mostly don’t exist yet.
As Engineering Manager for Agent & Product Security, you’ll lead the team that makes agentic software development trustworthy. This team owns the security boundaries between customers, data, tools, repositories, workspaces, and agent authority across Cursor’s product and agents and designs the primitives behind them: agent identity, delegated authority, policy enforcement, secure tool execution, and prompt-injection containment. Little of this has settled precedent, so the team’s decisions carry unusual weight for Cursor and for how the industry approaches these problems.
Security here is tightly coupled to product strategy: customers adopt agent autonomy as fast as we can make it trustworthy, so the boundaries your team makes safe directly determine what the product can ship. You’ll help set that direction.
What you’ll do
Chart the path from supervised agents to trusted autonomous ones: define the security primitives that enable agent autonomy, and lead the team that builds them.
Engineer the isolation that makes Cursor safe to run inside customers’ most valuable codebases: tenancy, workspace, secret, and data protections designed for real adversaries.
Build the authority infrastructure autonomous agents need: identity, scoped permissions, policy enforcement, and secure tool execution, so an agent can hold real responsibility with verifiable limits and full accountability.
Build customer-facing security controls that are understandable, usable, and strong enough for Cursor’s most security-sensitive customers, with crisp success metrics for security outcomes.

Create pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive mapping, inbound follow-up, partner referrals, and your own network
Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality evaluations and ensure customers realize value quickly
Navigate complex enterprise buying processes, including security reviews, legal negotiations, procurement, and multi-stakeholder approval cycles
Serve as the voice of Japan's enterprise customers internally, sharing market feedback and deal learnings with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and GTM leadership
Help establish Cursor’s enterprise presence in Japan by building repeatable motions, local market insights, and early customer references
Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

You have 10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally selling developer tools, infrastructure, cloud, security, AI, or other technical SaaS products to engineering-led organizations
You have experience selling into strategic or large enterprise accounts in Japan

About the Role
We’re hiring Field Engineers to partner with prospective and strategic enterprise customers. As a Field Engineer, you’ll be the technical face of Anysphere in the field, helping customers evaluate Cursor, guiding them through proofs of concept, and ensuring they see the full value of AI in their engineering workflows.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders. This is a highly customer-facing role where you’ll combine deep technical fluency with strong communication skills to drive adoption and influence product direction.
What you’ll do
Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements
Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, serving as their technical advisor
Translate customer requirements into solution designs, guiding them on best practices for rollout, prompt strategy, and context configuration
Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to customer needs

About the role
As a Strategic Account Executive, SLED (State, Local, and Education) at Cursor, you'll drive revenue growth across a named territory of SLED accounts on our Public Sector team. You'll work closely with engineering organizations - from CTOs to individual development teams - to understand how they build software, demonstrate how Cursor transforms developer productivity, and land and expand Cursor across their organizations.
This role requires deep technical fluency, the ability to navigate complex enterprise and government buying processes, and a genuine passion for AI-powered developer tools. You'll be a foundational member of our enterprise sales motion.
What you’ll do
Own a named book of SLED accounts; drive new account acquisition, expansion revenue, and long-term strategic growth
Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles across Engineering, Product, Security, Procurement, Legal, and mission-critical stakeholders
Become a trusted product expert; guide federal prospects through trials, technical evaluations, security reviews, and large-scale rollouts
Build executive relationships and cultivate day-to-day champions across accounts, integrators, and technical teams
Quantify value with clear ROI cases tied to developer productivity, AI adoption, mission outcomes, and secure software delivery
Be the voice of the federal customer and influence the roadmap with actionable feedback on product, compliance, deployment, and procurement needs
Partner closely with Field Engineering and our AI Deployment team to deliver outcomes from proof of concept through production deployment and expansion

About the role
We're looking for a Billing Support Manager to lead a team of billing agents on the APAC shift while also owning the programs and systems that make the broader billing operation scale. You'll directly manage ~10 agents on your shift (queue health, escalations, coaching, scheduling) AND own org-wide programs like QA frameworks, training, escalation playbooks, and hiring. You'll report to the Billing Manager and work alongside 3 Associate Managers who run the other shifts.
This is a developer tools company: our users are engineers, and our billing team regularly troubleshoots issues that touch subscriptions, usage, and product behavior. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be technically fluent enough to coach agents, review escalations, and work credibly with Product and Engineering. This is a remote role based in the Philippines.
What you’ll do
Your shift (APAC):
Directly manage ~10 billing agents on the APAC shift: queue monitoring, escalations, 1:1s, QA reviews, scheduling
Own your team's performance metrics and coach agents to improve
Handle complex escalations: refund edge cases, Stripe disputes, subscription issues, product bugs
Ensure clean handoffs between your shift and the next
Org-wide programs:
Design and maintain the QA rubric, scoring guides, and calibration process across all shifts
Build and iterate on the training program for new hires and ongoing agent development
Own the escalation playbook: define tiers, create response templates, track resolution patterns
Own the hiring pipeline for billing agents: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers
Coach Associate Managers on people management, performance conversations, and strategic thinking
Run performance calibration cycles and make recommendations on promotions, PIPs, and exits
Represent billing operations in conversations with product, engineering, and finance
Own org-wide billing support metrics: TTR, CSAT, QA scores, reopen rates, volume trends
Raise the bar on technical troubleshooting in training and QA: help agents investigate billing issues with appropriate depth (logs, account state, repro steps) before escalating
You may be a fit if
7+ years in customer support operations, at least 2 in a management role overseeing leads or supervisors
You've built operational programs from scratch (QA, training, escalation processes)
Track record of developing people: coached promotions, managed underperformers out, run calibrations
Billing/payments domain experience preferred: Stripe, subscription billing, refunds, disputes
Strong analytical skills: comfortable with data, dashboards, and making decisions from metrics
Experience in high-growth environments where process needs to be built, not just followed
Technical literacy: you understand how developers work and can speak comfortably about common tools and workflows (e.g. Git/GitHub, IDEs, basic debugging). You're not thrown by technical tickets or engineering conversations
Big plus
You've used Cursor or similar AI-native dev tools, or you've supported a developer tools / SaaS engineering product where tickets routinely involved technical investigation
You've coached agents on when an issue is billing vs. product vs. engineering, and how to document repro steps engineers can act on
